I've been shopping at the Suffolk Publix for a few months now, and overall, it's a solid grocery store. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the store itself is clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. The bakery and deli sections are especially good—fresh bread, great subs, and quick service.

Prices are a bit on the higher side compared to some other chains, but the quality of products (especially produce and meats) tends to make up for it. They also run decent weekly sales, and their BOGO deals are worth watching for.

Only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because stock can sometimes be hit or miss, especially on weekends, and checkout lines can get a little long during peak times. Still, it's one of the better grocery options in the area and a pleasant place to shop overall.

Long post.

I got food for some movers beginning of July, chicken and Mac n cheese. I was so up set I spent almost $80 for food that was disgusting. I through away about half the food. When I go to Publix's I usually get a sandwich made.
I called the company customer service and they told me to go back and get a refund. I go and I I waited 10 minutes for the 2 cashiers to finish their conversation. Not once did they knowledge me while I was waiting. They call the manager (super sweet very understanding) gave me my refund.

She is the ONLY reason I gave 3 stars.
Gotta do better with customer service.

I began going to Publix 2 months ago. It is one of the best decisions I have made thus far for grocery shopping. The food looks like it does in a magazine. It is very nice and clean. The staff are friendly and courteous. The team members I had to seek assistance from were very knowledgeable. Good sales. I would highly recommend this Super Market.

Suffolk finally has a superior grocery store on Godwin Blvd. The desserts in the bakery look delicious. It’s nice they have some smaller portions for 2 people.

They offer fresh made subs at the deli. The produce looks great. There is a nice seafood section.

Of course the store is new and immaculate and the employees are friendly.

When driving in from the interstate be sure to turn at the light before kings fork road for easy access.

Very pleased with this establishment here. I was there for the grand opening and I must say what a beautiful store, and staff were on point. Prices are pricey though for some that like to budget shop such as myself lol. They do have bogos and good quality meats. I just order a custom made cake but won’t be able to review that until later. Buffalo Chicken Tender Sub for the win. I just wish their oven was working on the first day so I could had my sandwich toasted. All good, it didn’t take away from the 5 stars.

Customer service suffers at this location. I've given multiple opportunities just thinking it was a fluke but it has been consistently bad. Order chicken and the count was off so I called back to explain and was told that i was wrong because "that's how we plate it." I'm not in the business of cheating nor trying to get over so I was insulted. Tried speaking to manager with no luck. Not that a business this size would care but me and my family won't be supporting. Kroger has won us over! I will spread the word to those who like first time quality!

I recently placed a catering order for chicken at Publix three weeks in advance. When I arrived to pick it up, I discovered the order had not been prepared. Understandably, I was a bit stressed, but the Deli Manager, Bre, and Associate, Eli, immediately stepped in and turned the situation around. They were incredibly helpful, acted quickly, and had my full order ready within 35 minutes. Their professionalism, kindness, and quick resolution truly impressed me. Mistakes happen, but it’s how a team handles them that makes all the difference—and Bre and Eli did just that. I’m grateful for their excellent customer service and will continue to choose Publix first for all my catering needs!

I love that they have such a diverse amount of prepped meals and bagged veggies for quick dinners! So much better than fast food! The fresh sushi is a big hit, too. They just have a lot more variety that you don’t see at other major chain grocery stores. I always find things I’ve never seen elsewhere.
