We live right across the street and shop here on a regular basis. The entire store is so nice and the shelves are always stocked. They employees are all so helpful and welcoming. We really enjoy being able to stop by on our way home from work or even take a stroll to grab a couple of items we need for the week.

Would have said this was a great location, but i had an associate follow me to me car and force me to unload my groceries from my cart as fast as possible "because she needed to return the cart". Did i do something wrong why was i forced to unload my groceries as fast as possible in the heat while being stared down?

Very clean, I love the layout very inviting. Not just a grocery store but a place where you can grab lunch with Deli prepared sandwiches and fresh fruit. Checkout was a breeze.
A place you just don't wanna shop you want to browse.

I love the convenience of the store but hate that it's a guarantee that nothing will ever be fresh. If I go to the deli, the chicken tenders that are claimed to be fresh out of the fryer are hard and dried out, always. The bread for the subs is always so hard that it cuts the roof of my mouth when I chew. If I need milk, it's definitely going to have an expiration date of 5-6 days from the given day. (at least 2 weeks would be nice, 3 would be better.)The salad mixes may just have 2 days left til expiration. The tortillas will expire within a week--which is unheard to me of given their weeks/months long shelf life. This is my experience every time I walk their aisles. So if I want to waste my money buying food at full price that I know I need to use *that day* (and it still not even be good because it's so old) then I can conveniently go to my local Publix here. I imagine Publix corporate will reply to my review telling me to submit a customer care message so they can provide my feedback to the store manager. The thing is that this has been my experience since the store opened a year ago. And a year ago, I informed the store manager directly. Nothing has changed so contacting the store manager seems to be pointless when there will clearly be no changes.

Service has been great, but they need to tow people for parking in the pickup only parking spots.

I'm hoping the service does not start to lack like a lot of places in Irondale.

Edit: hot bar was turned off so my chicken poppers and cheese curds were cold.

Edit: as I thought, the customer services has already tanked.

Edit: now the signs for pickup are gone.

Edit: bag boy put everything on top of my vegetables and bread.

This Publix has a different layout, the large deli and hot bar are well positioned. The oval format makes for easily viewing the days offerings. The sushi area has specialty rolls and pieces. Everything appears clean and efficient.
