A very great friend of mine got her dress from here. She went in and found the one dress that was going to make her special day perfect for her. She made an appointment for her to find her dress and the workers kept letting people trying to find prom dresses in front of her to use her spot so they could see prom dresses...She paid for alterations and for the dress. When she went back to pick up the dress they stated that she had not paid for alterations. For her to be able to take her dress she was going to have to pay for alterations TWICE. This is insane. They don't have to worry about me ever going here since I will not be getting married again! I will make sure no one that I'm friends with picks this place to get anything! Go to David's Bridal instead!!!

This is my daughter’s senior year we were looking for a prom dress we went here. We didn’t have anyone help us except one girl that hung the prom dresses in the dressing room. All the other girls in the store looking for prom dresses had someone helping them look and try on dresses. We didn’t know what to do with the prom dresses so we left them in the dressing room because we weren’t done because my daughter didn’t have someone helping her they took her dressing room. Most places acknowledge you when you come in their door and ask can they help you. Not this place they were rude and snobby. I feel like because my daughter just got off work and didn’t have on makeup or her hair fixed and had sweat pants on they judged her. I don’t recommend this store at all. I didn’t even want to give it one star but you can’t leave a review then.

We love Promenade! We have purchased two dresses there so far and will definitely let them handle all of our formal clothing for pageants, proms and weddings. The girls in the shop are very friendly and helpful. We had to order both dresses and the experience was very satisfying. The dresses arrived promptly. The alterations lady is superb. I highly recommend this shop for all your formal needs.

I have never written a negative review. I am a small business owner myself and try to understand that not everyone will always be perfect. However, I was really shocked by how the lady(older lady with short blonde hair) handled business. The customer service was very poor. We had a sizing issue and the way she responded to us was shocking. It’s not so much of the sizing issue that bothered me (we made it work) but the lack of customer service, respect, and care from this woman. She had other young teen girls who were employees standing around watching her behavior. In business sometimes maybe even if you don’t think you are wrong you need to help and make things work for your customers. Don’t be so full of yourself and your business that you think it can’t go down the drain. I would suggest going elsewhere to do business if you can! Trust me there are tons of places like this that have great customer service!

I hate to have to write this, but I feel the need to warn other brides about the service I received at Promenade. I would not recommend Promenade for any bridal services, especially bridesmaids dresses. I ordered dresses for my three bridesmaids about 5 months prior to my wedding. The manufacturer estimated a ship date about 6 weeks prior to my wedding. To make a long story short, the dresses never came in.

For more details, read below, but the bottom line is that I would take my business elsewhere in the future, and I recommend that others do the same. The consultants in the store were very nice and helpful, but it's not worth the headache of dealing with Promenade's lack of good communication skills. I guess they missed the lesson in business school that the customer is always right.

When the dresses did not arrive in time for my wedding, they did offer us dresses from another source that were in stock. However, the sizes that my bridesmaids needed were not available. All three of my bridesmaids lived out of town, so having Promenade alter a larger dress down a size was not a feasible option for me, even though the store suggested altering dresses THEN shipping to the bridesmaids. I felt that anyone who knows anything would realize this option was crazy on a timeline of 10 days before the wedding. What were we going to do if the dresses were altered, shipped, and arrived 5 days before the wedding, and still didn't fit?

So about 10 days before my wedding, I ordered replacement dresses from David's Bridal and paid for overnight shipping. I'll admit that the fact that the original dresses never came in may have been the dress manufacturer's fault, but Promenade did not handle the situation well. The owner did not return phone calls when my mother or I would leave messages at the store, and she did not check the status of the supposed shipment as early or as often as I would have liked.

I requested that the store reimburse me for the cost of the replacement dresses that the girls did not want or even like, but they refused. I sent an email to the owner with the invoices for these dresses, and never heard another word about it until I sent another email, waited 10 days, received no response, and then called the store to follow up.

I don't want to sound like another jaded bride, but the truth is that there are plenty of other local businesses that do a better job of communicating with their customers and valuing customer satisfaction.

My daughter ordered 7 bridesmaids dresses from Promenade over 3 months before the wedding. Several girls lived out of state. They only had one dress of each style to choose from and no way to try on the correct size for each girl. They buy their their dresses from china and if you have ever ordered any clothing from there, you would know that they do not use american sizes. Anyway, the dresses were supposed to be in at least 6 weeks before the wedding. The dresses never came in and we had less than 2 weeks before the wedding. In a panic my daughter went to David's Bridal and she found a way more beautiful dress that complemented all the girls. They put a rush on it and they came in in one week! They altered them in 2 days, all seven and was ready days before the wedding! I had to call 3 times, over 3 weeks to get my refund back from promenade. Save yourself the trouble and go to Huntsville Davids Bridal for a stress free experience!

Ordered my dress demanding I measured 5 sizes smaller that the dress I couldn't zip. Lost this dress, gave me a second a week before the event they couldn't get rid of at the clearance sale. Couldn't get a straight answer from anyone, the owner refused to talk to me. Wouldn't send my worst enemy here
