This lovely boutique hotel is situated in a fantastic location in the beautiful town of Cave Creek. You will be astonished at the attentiveness of the staff, and surprised at the quality of the local food offerings and shopping venues. There is plenty to do during your stay, and rest assured you will have a quality room and quality service on standby for your every need.

This place is a gem! I found it online and being there in person is so much better than what the website and pictures depict. The room and entire facility was spotless and beautiful. Everywhere you look the finishes are high end and gory. Cave Creek is the most quaint and beautiful place and so happy to have found both Cabe Creek and The Prickly Pear Inn

Everything about this place is perfect!|From the friendly owner to the locals.|We stayed in the Bearded Room and it was beautiful. There is a full size kitchen, den and bedroom all in one “great” room. The patio is huge as well and we found ourselves watching the sun set and drinking wine almost every evening. Cave Creek is a mecca of restaurants and shops that we loved. We will definitely stay here in the future. Loved, loved, loved this Inn!!! ❤️

Excellent accommodation; quaint plaza with shops; spacious rooms; immaculate and clean; well equipped kitchenette; efficient after hours check-in; no pool or exercise facilities; walking distance to shops and restaurants. I will return on my next trip to Cave Creek.

This is a great boutique hotel. Our room had a large balcony with a good view of the mountains and sunsets. |The staff was accommodating and supplied all our needs.|Cave Creek is a small town with much less traffic than Phoenix or Scottsdale. It has plenty of restaurants, bars, and eclectic shops. It is also convenient to interstates and Carefree Highway.|I highly recommend this place.

We loved our first stay at the Prickly Pear Inn! The Pancake room was clean, well appointed, comfortable, and quiet. Room views were great, can't wait to book again and try out the other rooms.

This place is absolutely fabulous. The rooms are beautiful and so comfortable. I did not want to leave and I can't wait to return. There is so much to do right there in walking distance. We parked and never left until it was time to check out. The manager, Roger is kind and incredibly helpful. Don't hesitate to stay here.

My father and I came out in January of 2024 (he's looking to relocate to the very charming town of Cave Creek which is where Prickly Pear is located). Typically he stays at the Boulders - but he wanted to try something different this trip. I couldn't have better things to say about the Prickly Pear! We had to move our reservation several times because of last minute emergencies, and Rodger was incredibly accommodating to the changes. Checking in (even though we checked in after 6pm) was a breeze, and the location could not be more perfect (you are RIGHT in the center of town!) ||The morning after we checked in, we had not picked up our rental car yet and we needed to get some breakfast before we went house hunting (we had about 45 minutes before the realtor picked us up..) Although everything from Prickly Pear is walking distance, my father was having some trouble adjusting to the altitude - and Rodger offered to take us to a local breakfast spot (and gave us several amazing recommendations for lunch and dinner for us to try during our stay there - all of which were 10/10!!). ||The rooms were spacious and immaculate - plus, the rooms had full kitchens, which was great for us because we were able to reheat our leftovers on an actual stove or in and actual oven (and not just in a microwave) every night! The beds were very comfortable, the TVs were HUGE and the wifi was able to accommodate my 3 computers I needed to work on throughout my stay (that is always an issue when I travel and have work to catch up on). ||There were also several times I needed to print documents for work meetings (via zoom) and print our boarding passes for my father - and they were able to print those out for us at the front desk (even though my work documents were rather lengthy). ||The staff truly went above and beyond to make sure our stay was absolutely perfect and I am very much looking forward to coming back again soon!
