Incredible experience!! We decided to try something new as a family and came across this glass making class. Our instructor Doug was amazing and really took his time with teaching us the process while having fun creating our own items. I highly recommend this class if you are looking for a unique experience.

We had the best experience at Prairie Dog Glass! Me, my husband and our 6.5 year old worked with the glass artists to create some beautiful pieces. Each glass artist we worked with were so incredibly patient, attentive and fun with my 6 year old while also keeping him very safe. He had a beyond positive and memorable experience. This is a must if you are visiting Santa Fe.

A fun family experience! We spent an hour or so creating decorative and useful hand forged and blown glass items. Sarah is knowledgeable, kind and patient and made our visit memorable and enjoyable.

Prairie Dog Glass is a hidden treasure in Santa Fe! This is a world class glass art creating studio. It is an amazing experience to watch artists create with glass. The final pieces are displayed around the studio. They even offer the opportunity to join a personalized class to participate! The artists are friendly and answer questions when they take breaks from their work. One of the artists is “Spooner” Robert Marcus from the Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo. His work is featured in the Clearly Indigenous glass art book.

We took a girls trip to Santa Fe for my sister’s 40th birthday and our glass blowing glass was a highlight of our weekend! Spooner was the best instructor and made our class so much fun. The shop has so many beautiful pieces for sale too so we purchased some beautiful home decor in addition to the fun pieces we made! It was very convenient that we were able to pick up our finished pieces 24 hours after our class so that we could travel back home with them. Highly recommend checking this place out and booking a class for yourself or your group!!!

The glass blowing experience was amazing. Mike and Sarah were both amazing and very informative. Mike was a great coach and was very patient with my daughter. I highly recommend taking a class at prairie dog glass.

We signed up for the Glass Experience hoping to make some functional pieces for our home and get a taste for glass blowing. George was our host/instructor and he was entertaining and made sure we got what we came for. We mainly assisted George while he created our pieces, holding tools and such while he did the critical processes. Overall, we are happy with the experience and our finished pieces, though the price tag of $225+tax+tip makes this a once in a lifetime kind of splurge.
