My boyfriend and I recently took a trip to Ponzio’s in Cherry Hill for a mid-day meal, and we had a fantastic experience. Ponzio’s is a spot he loves, so he insisted I give it a try, and I’m glad I did! While the restaurant was lively, it wasn’t overly crowded, allowing us to be seated immediately without any wait. The place is impressively spacious, offering ample parking for customers and multiple large dining areas. In addition to its welcoming atmosphere, Ponzio’s features a well-stocked bar and a delightful bakery filled with lovely treats. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, frequently checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. Our food arrived quickly, within about 15 minutes, and was well worth the wait. I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap, while my boyfriend went for a chicken sandwich and their famous french toast. The french toast, one of their specialties, absolutely lived up to its reputation, it was delicious. Everything we ordered was fresh, perfectly prepared, and full of flavor, making for a thoroughly enjoyable meal. Overall, Ponzio’s exceeded our expectations with its warm ambiance, excellent service, and delightful food. It’s definitely a spot we’ll be visiting again!

Excellent waitress! Best part of our experience here! Otherwise, skimpy portions and overpriced. The breakfast menu was the smallest I’ve ever seen of any diner in NJ. Pancakes were decent. We took home a few bakery items which ranged from tasteless to stale. Minus our waitress, no one cracked a smile, ever. And this was a random off hour on a weekday, they weren’t busy. Looks so good from the outside but inside it’s a whole different story.

We’ve been going to Ponzio’s since the 1960’s so it qualifies as a historical fixture in Cherry Hill. They’re still on top of their game as reflected in food taste and quality, service and ambiance. It’s your quintessential Jersey diner visited by world wide travelers time immemorial. So if you’re on tour and in town stop by for real comfort food the home made way.

Let me mention Kurt our waiter. You my friend, no, you, you are good. I can sense waitstaff who are there going through the motions and those that exude true hospitality. I mean genuine assistance which we appreciate. Ask for Kurt and get to know him if time permits.

Since it is near Thanksgiving I cannot wait for turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed and veggies. It was not only good it was massive. You will be “stuffed.”

I like the snapper soup because I don’t see it anywhere else. We also like pumpkin soup and mashed turnips but those items are only one day a week, Saturday! Ugh.

This diner was exceptional in every sense of the word. Unfortunately, I didn't get to enjoy the pastries but the food? So delicious!!! Everything was perfectly made! Our server was attentive. The place is beautiful. The bathrooms are super clean. Everyone is polite to you and smiles. There's plenty of parking. Not one complaint at all.

Ponzio’s is hands down my go-to spot, no matter the time of day! Whether you’re in the mood for lunch, dinner, or breakfast, the quality of the food is always top-notch. But for me, breakfast is my favorite. The homemade 7-grain bread is absolutely delicious, and their Taylor ham is incredible — cooked to perfection every time. Great service, welcoming atmosphere, and consistent quality make Ponzio’s a must-visit. Highly recommend!

We've been going to Ponzio's my entire life, and it never disappoints. I've had consistently great meals there and seem to top it off with a little something from their bakery. Of course!! My mother likes the cheese filled rolls they put in the bread basket. As diners go, this is one of the best!

First time here to celebrate my best friend’s birthday and it was great!!! Tasty food, good service and clean environment! Highly recommend the chicken wings, crispy outside and delicious soft inside not like many other places over cooked and dry! Love the clams angel hair! The desserts were very delicious too!

loved my steak and eggs here! don’t agree with being charged $2 for cream cheese when I only got one for my bagel, though. other than that, the food and service were great.
