Such a lovely experience today!! i went into plato’s closet for just a little back to school shopping and was greeted by an employee named Kali! She has amazing customer service and adds a very positive attitude to their work environment!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME - THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!! I brought in clothes (some just bought this year), shoes and leather bags/purses. All in great shape. Some never even worn. They told me everything was out of style (how can a real black leather purse, that looks brand new- be out of style) and some of it had stains. I washed, ironed, and neatly folded everything before I brought it in there. I made sure there were no stains on any piece of clothing. They bought one pair of jeans (never worn with tags for $4.35), and told me everything else had stains or was out of style. They returned everything in a bunched up pile. Now I have to go home and re-iron and re-fold everything before I can take them to a consignment shop or even donate them. Heck, they even tried giving me the wrong shoes back.
I would not recommend this place to anyone!!!!!

5 items for $12 even though I brought items in that were new with tags. I know you’re not selling these for $4-$6 each but fine that’s a little bit of money for some items just sitting in my closet. But THEN when I get my tub back the clothes were wadded up when I brought them in folded nicely. When I said “I had these folded nicely” I was told they “don’t have time”. You don’t have to fold it perfectly by any means but this is a little ridiculous. I’m Extremely disappointed with my experience today. I don’t recommend taking the time to bring anything to this store for resale. I’ve sold here before and I’ve been a little disappointed but tried to be understanding. This today’s experience was on a different level of disappointment and disrespect today.

when i attended plato’s closet i was immediately greeted with a warm, welcoming community. while walking around with my hands full Piper one of the employees at this location asked if she could hold my clothes at the front for me until i was done shopping. this provided immediate relief! would shop again!
