Friendly owners, affectionate cat, old wood floors, and an ambiance that oozes “the olden days.” It’s worth the visit just for these things, but they have the basic necessities so you can easily find something that will wet your whistle.

Last stop to buy anything before going north. There's beer snackies and coffee, soda pop and food. It's basically a convenience store privately owned . There's some pets hanging about inside and the owner is really friendly. There was a lady who owned it for years and years probably more then 20. Same family still owns it . Last stop before copper harbor

In early May, it's pretty difficult to find anything to eat around lunchtime in this area. Our salvation was the Phoenix Store at the end, where we were at least able to snag a granola bar and a few pieces of cheese.

Great Store! It has a very old school vibe and I loved it. They have a little bit of everything. Had to stop and get fuel. They are cash only, which was alright. Ran down to the Cliff Bar and pulled cash out. Came back got fuel, a drink, and a snack. Thank you for the friendly service and conversation.
