This place is a nightmare and the local media should do a story so it could be none what really goes on in there. To start off they wake you up at 5am to literally feed you donuts and coffee to drink. When you don't have a bed you have to sleep on a chair. If you do have a bed and you don't show up 3 days in a row you will lose your bed and then the friendly staff takes all of your belongings and puts it in the dumpster that is just feet away from the entrance of the facility. The restrooms are so dirty with urine all over the floor. They also kick you out a few times a day not caring if its raining. 85 percent of the staff have no respect and treat you like a no body. The only employee that helped me and because of her i was able to finally leave that place was Evelyn. You are not safe as well from others that stay there. I am allow to mention this things because i actually had to live this nightmare for 2 months.

Gratitude should be iembedded in people's head without gratitude. You're gonna have an attitude. Having a roof over your head and not freezing to death or stalking to death should be enough to say. Thank you for giving me one more night Of survival. All homeless shelters are for people who are down-and-out. And it's each person Responsibility Just to bring something as small as a dollar meal, Unwanted clothes, blankets something. Basically if you're not grateful already for what you have then obviously you have nothing. Fact

I know everyone has their opinion but this place does help people & they will continue to help people that are in need. Before you write negative words, stop & think what it takes to run a shelter. It is quite a lot and again not everyone understands & people do their best with the limited resources given to them. If you need help, you must speak up & reach out. No, it is NOT easy, life is not easy but if we all helped one another & can lean on each other for help, the World would be a better place. People have been saying this since the 70's & before. Happy day to you all.

They suck and they don’t help anyone. The staff just there to collect a check . The cook calls people stupid and she’s homeless her self. They lie and kick people out their facility for no reason. They make the victim in the situation look like their the aggressor. Not very helpful place . They make you sleep in chais when it’s no beds . Bad for the neck

This is to the sub-human who rated this place 2 stars. You need to understand that NO ONE likes living in a shelter but who knows what your circumstances will call for. This place offers a warm bed to sleep and food to avoid hunger. They help out as much as they can, so at the very least the rating should be determined by your own experience with this location or the deed at hand. Your opinion sir, does not qualify to rate this place down. Shame on you.

I gave it two stars, because who likes a homeless shelter. They take in good food, but rarely serve that. Some of what they serve is OK, and they have lots of doughnuts and pastery leftovers in the morning. One good thing though: I have never seen violence there, and they do keep people with drug addiction and alcoholism out of the sleeping (privilege) areas. This is for everybody's good. But it's still dirty, crowded and - well only for people who have NO other place to go.
