Given the footprint of the mall, it's pretty sad to see the number of stores in the mall vacant. You still have a few anchor tenants like Macy's, planet fitness and Champs, but the foot traffic is very dead.
There are a good reasons to stop by however:
Covered parking
Indoor mall - from the heat and rain. Though the AC is light.
A good place to just walk.
Some deals given the emptiness of foot traffic.

This is terrible no mall should have to suffer like this I filmed every elevator that is there and people told me that this mall will not have a future I want to film jcpenny dillards and sears but none of those stores are open and there is mold everywhere the elevators have no chimes and all the escalators are broken you should turn back on the escalators fix the elevators and reopen the stores before it is too late PLEASE I BEG OF YOU TURN ON THE ESCALATORS FIX THE ELEVATORS CLEAN OUT THE MOLD AND REOPEN THE STORES because if you won't I WILL! So please SAVE THIS MALL

This mall has clearly seen better days. What stores and services that are left open are certainly worth the visit. There seems to be some remodeling being done on some stores. It’s not quite a fossil but definitely a dinosaur

Lived in Orlando entire life and this mall is my childhood. Sad to see turn into a ghost town with only a handful of stores open. By comparison, the Florida Mall is always packed with shoppers being close to the attractions and airport. The obvious question is, what can we do with this big empty mall? Turn into Apartments or Condos?

I think the location of this mall is extremely convenient to all roads in the Orlando Metro area it's a shame that it's gone downhill as it has. was talk of making it into condos ...that took them 3 years for that to fall through. For what it is it's a clean physical plant it has a Macy's in it which is a plus for me. Word in the air is that it's the next up and coming area of downtown... that remains to be seen. I hope it does Make it and is revitalized. Until that happens it's still a good place to go.
