We used Orange Carpet on two separate occasions , First floor and basement area, to install new flooring. Mary Beth and her team are excellent. The installers were very professional, very efficient and did an amazing job. I would highly recommend Orange Carpet.

Our experience with the Ledgewood store was amazing. From the moment we walked in the door, Lisa was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I thought it was too good to be true that our carpet came in and we had the installation date all set. The installer, Joel was at our house on the date and time Lisa told us he would be. After reading several of the reviews on Orange Carpet there is a common thread with those that have left negative comments, the customer is always wrong and to blame. So, when I leave my feedback, it will come of no surprise when the owner blames me for her mistakes and her lack of industry knowledge. My issue began over a year ago in May of 2021 when an appliance store damaged a two-day old floor installed by Orange Carpet. We filed a claim with the appliance company who came out to our home and prepared an estimate for repair. As of September of 2021, due to the pandemic the appliance company was unable to complete the repairs and told us to get an estimate and submit the invoice. Since Orange Carpet installed the floor, we called the owner. Originally her invoice was to replace the entire floor. At the request of the claims department, we were asked to see if she would be able to repair the floor. Her response was “ let me check with my guy”. A few days later we receive an invoice to repair our damaged floor. The invoice to repair was submitted to the claims department and we received a check in the mail, closing the claim. Now once again due to the pandemic the wood was not available and was on back order. Finally in May of 2022 we get a call from Orange Carpet, the wood is in, and they will be here on May 23, 2022 to install. After waiting a year, the installation day arrives. “Her guy” arrives and is at our home approximately ten minutes. He says the floor can not be repaired. In order to do the job correctly, the entire floor needed to be replaced. He took the wood flooring and left. After leaving messages for the owner to call us, she decided to email us three days later blaming us for making her give us an invoice to repair our floor and that we had never given her a down payment. First, a payment was never requested. Whenever payments were requested during the initial installation of our floors, payment was made by end of day. Secondly, if our floor could not be repaired, why would you provide an invoice to do so? Wouldn’t the owner of a business with over 70 years in the flooring industry know if a floor could or could not be repaired? We now have a damaged floor and the owner of Orange Carpet who will “ gladly” install a new floor at our expense. We gave the owner several opportunities to make this situation correct before posting this review and she declined. She is not taking ownership of her mistakes. If she sent “her guy” to our home from the start, this whole situation could have been avoided, the claims department was willing to pay for the floor to be replaced if that what was recommended. So if you are looking for poor customer service, dishonesty and some who doesn’t have industry knowledge, Orange Carpet is the place for you.

From the moment I called Orange Carpet and spoke to Lisa (extremely knowledgeable and sweet) to the completion of the job was an absolute pleasure. Lisa called and scheduled the work and Faber and Fernando showed up and completed the job exactly as promised! The job they did was impeccable and they were even sweet to my little yapping dogs.
