This is the first grocery store I visited when I moved to New Jersey, and I continue to shop here twenty-five years later. The layout is enormous with a wide selection of classic American foods from Pringles to lemonade and frozen DiGiorno pizzas. I shop at Sally Beauty, bring the kids to peruse Five & Below, and pick up laptops and cellphones from Best Buy.

Newport Plaza truly caters to a wide range of interests and preferences, making it a go-to destination for locals and visitors alike.

This ACME is very clean and up to par with neighboring ACME it has a fabulous bakery, fresh cut produce, fully stocked frozen foods, fresh cut meat, seafood, and fully stocked shelves. Insta-cart and uber eat customers also love to shop for their clients. Overall I've been here shopping here for years with neighboring BestBuy, Target and TD Bank all in one shopping Plaza. Truly a gem 💎 snuggled right next to NY NJ Port Authority it just adds to an awesome shopping experience.

Eh, it's a transportation hub. Plenty of homeless. The escalators break down often. The bathrooms are not open past 7pm. It's not excessively dirty, which is nice. Just hop.on your train and go. No reason to stick around unless you're grabbing food from one of the restaurants connected (convenient).

Standard mall, all the stores u would expect, good selection of grub in the food court.
What I like the best about Newport is the movie theater, awhile back they fixed it up & the seats are great, they recline all the way back, ( it's the little things), plus I think, not sure but they might have IMAX there too.

Panera forgot my order, waited for 25 min and asked for a refund. H&M had only one cashier and took forever, put the item back to shelf and left. Bread and bubble tea stand was really good.

It's okay, I don't know what else to say about such a small shopping center that's been around since the late 1980s. I often forget it's there even though I've been shopping there for about 35 years on occasion. Currently it has an Acme, a Best Buy which isn't anything spectacular by any means, a Popeye's Chicken, a dollar store where nothing is a dollar. There are other stores in the shopping center but they are too insignificant to even mention because they go in and out of business on a regular basis. Please don't get used to them they're not going to be there. What are the downfalls of the shopping center is for lack of a better way of describing it a alleyway if you will between the Best Buy and the building that once housed Pier 1 imports. It can be a little bit uncomfortable walking down the alleyway when you may encounter panhandlers and homeless people and rats yes I said rats as you get closer to the tt
Target which is in a neighboring Shopping Center. The parking lot is more than ample for the stores that are there. Occasionally during windy times is going to be a lot of garbage floating around. It's not really convenient for public transportation as no bus goes to it. It's quite a walk to the Newport Center and Hoboken Light Rail stations. If you live in a section of downtown Hoboken or in areas of downtown Jersey City its walkable. There's nothing particularly outstanding or particularly bad about the shopping center. It's fairly well kept but fairly well hidden too.
