I found mold on some Gulab Jamun I purchased tonight. The store is closed now and I'm expecting a refund from them.

I will contact the business and hopefully the manager or owner will contact me after seeing this review.

The best handmade fresh samosas in the area and only $1.30! The only place left to get a quick snack for under 5 bucks! Good selection of specialty Indian and Middle Eastern spices and products, Indian beauty products and henna, and a huge selection of premade Indian freezer food that is actually really good! The owner Henry is very sweet and kind, and an excellent person to support as a local small business!

Bought paneer the other day, went home with it found it to be expired.. called them they said sorry bring it back will replace.. I let it go happens sometime. Another day bought Indian chocolates and few other snacks, expired.. I let it go… bought sweets had mold…

I have worked in Indian store and restaurants before and I know they don’t wanna trash anything until customer come back with expired items.. but what if customer forgot to check the date and consume it, It can be life threatening…

Dear store owner, would you feed your children or parents with expired items? If Yes, I don't have anything to say but if it’s a big NO then please rotate your stuffs and trash or return any expired items..

Superb!! That is one word that captures the essence of New India Supermarket. Staff is pleasant and very helpful. I have had the opportunity of meeting the owners as well and they are a delight! I always find my favorite samosas here, fresh.
I come back here because of the attention I am given anytime I have questions.

We love this place. It's just the right size, large enough to have a good selection and small enough to get personalized service. This staff is always courteous and helpful and though they do not have their own parking lot, parking is usually easy to find.

We also love Vik's, but it can be an absolute zoo on the weekend. So it's good to have New India as an alternative, especially when we are already in that part of town.

Clean and organized neighborhood Indian grocery. They almost always have fresh Okra and curry leaves, which is a big plus for me. Owner is friendly and helpful. Happy they are close by. Never have had a bad experience.

New India Supermarket is a nice store, but many items don’t have prices listed, which means I often have to ask at the checkout counter or staff, who are sometimes not very knowledgeable. The store also feels a bit dusty. Overall, it’s okay for picking up a few items.
