A must stop! We absolutely loved the Nambe Trading Post! 🥰 We surprised Jennifer a little early on Sunday and had the shop mostly to ourselves. Perfect for admiring their beautiful work! The sweetest traditional trading post in a gorgeous little neighborhood just outside of Santa Fe.

Have passed by on the way to Taos many times, finally dropped in to see what was here. Glad we did. It is a small store but with a treasure trove of items. Lots of good/high quality items. The owner and her Mom both worked in costume design for movies and TV. You can buy some clothes from those movies as well as admire a collection on display. Have to come back again to spend more time going through the movie costumes, there is even an Emmy on display which was won for the costume work.

The Name Trading Post is a must when visiting Northern New Mexico. To the right you'll find authentic gifts from local Pueblo artists and beautiful jewelry made my Jesse Jennifer Smith. To the left you'll find the Museum of Western Films & Costumes. I definitely recommend viewing the museum which has a tour recorded by Cathy Smith who made the costumes for Dances with Wolves.
