Stopped in because I plan on making some Thai curries and need curry paste. The young lady behind the counter was very helpful. She asked questions and made sure I got what I needed. She even offered advice on making the curries. Definitely an asset to Lemon Grove!

Wonderful little shop!! Mostly shelf-stable products, no produce. But an awesome array of sauces, teas, and other items that I can't find anywhere else. The store was neat and clean and had a very inviting atmosphere. A little pricy, but that is to be expected with imported products. Plus, the size was well worth the price and will last me a while. The cashier was very friendly and gave me tips on ingredients. I'm very excited to try making pad see ew for the first time 🙂 Highly recommend!

Free parking in font of the store. The store located in the same area with Dollars Tree. Great service and friendly staff with knowledge of Thai items that we are looking for..

I was definitely impressed with the sheer amount of different specialty items in this store. While largely focused on Thai imports, there is a decent selection from other Asian countries as well. A good variety of snacks, drinks, meats and frozen vegetables, including many not found at other Asian markets in San Diego. I had some questions about some items I was not familiar with and the staff was very polite and knowledgeable about their products. Highly recommend!

Thank you for your response. Regarding the high prices, I did mention "excluding the Thai imports". My husband bought one of the matcha fish shaped ice cream sandwhich from your freezer and I recall it costing about $5 at the time. You can buy the exact same thing at almost any Asian grocery store for less than $3. The ice creams had no prices posted on them so we did not expect it to ring up that high.

I was excited to drive all the way here to check the store out. It was too quiet when I entered the store and there was 2 employees there. No greeting when arriving and not even a thank you after leaving. I was going to leave the store because the prices were too high and I didn't need anything here in particular. But I wanted to support this new mini mart anyway since it would be waste of time to leave empty handed. Some items can be purchased for less locally and not including their specially imported products. All this cost $29 plus a ice cream sandwich not pictured.

Small Thai/other SE Asian grocery store, very clean but selection is limited largely to shelf-stable and frozen ingredients and snacks. It has some ingredients/snacks I'd normally get from Vietnamese grocery stores and is more expensive than them, but considering that it's owned by (I believe) a wife and husband duo and it's hyper local, their prices are justified. The husband greeted us and called his wife to help us figure out ingredients we were missing for our recipe. Very nice. Support local small businesses!

I visited there and I'm sure to visit more because the selection of items they have from frozen foods, refrigerated drinks, and chips / other dried goods was amazing. Also the inside of the store is nice and neat so I felt calm and at peace when I stepped in. The ladies who worked there were also so sweet and kind that it makes me want to visit more just because of how nice they are. Overall if you're looking for thai products this is your place to go.
