I can’t say enough good about this store. Shannon knows her community and knows what her customers want! She expertly curates an ever changing inventory of fabulous giftables, decor, accessories and clothing— items that are sure to make you and everyone you’re buying for extremely happy! I myself love her coffee mugs (my favorite says “Bless Your Heart.”). Visit MP Dawson, take Shannon, Avery, Pressley, or Russ up on their offering of a glass bottle Coca Cola, and shop a spell. You won’t be sorry!!

Such a unique and fun store to shop for ANYONE!! From locally made items to others made in the USA...you can find just about anything you are looking for in gifts and home decor! Even cute items for your 4-legged friends! If you can't make it in...definitely ask them to ship. It's worth it!

This is my new favorite store. Wonderful things for my house but also great for gifts. Prices are very reasonable and the people are so nice and helpful. If you are looking for a birthday card that is unique this is your go to store.

This is an unique store in the heart of Trussville! It is reminiscent of shops you would come across in Seaside, FL or Franklin, TN. Staff is super welcoming and friendly. It has something for everyone. Got an uncle who likes the smell and taste of good whiskey? They got you covered with candles and glasses. Got a sweet Southern granny who loves to cook and speaks with a drawl? They got you covered with the cutest tea towels with Southern sayings. Got a friend who just has everything which makes it impossible for you to shop for? Well I guarantee they don't have anything like what you will find at M.P. Dawson Merchantile. So go check them out and I guarantee you'll love what you see!

Love this shop! One of my favorites of many is the Laundress Wash & Stain Bar. My husband has gotten rid of shirts due to stains from food that the normal stain removal options did not work. This really does work on stains!!
