A delightful find in Hartford, Alabama!

This restaurant has a charming old-fashioned vibe, both inside and out. The service was top-notch--Carmen was exceptionally friendly, and my order arrived in just 10-15 minutes.

I opted for the grilled chicken breast on a bun, accompanied by coleslaw and sweet potato casserole. The chicken was flavorful and perfectly cooked, and the bun was warm and soft. The standout for me was the sweet potato casserole, which I tried for the first time; it was served warm and absolutely delicious.

Nice little diner located in Hartford. The food was good and the service was better. Very friendly staff that never missed a beat, found myself never having to ask for a refill or anything for that matter. The fried pork chops were moist and crispy. The turkey and dressing were delicious. Mac n cheese and French fries were ok. The brussel sprouts were boiled for far too long and lacked flavor. All in all it was a very pleasant spot to have a southern home cooked meal.

This is the place to go. Everyone was here. The regulars after church and those of us passing through from vacation.
Did we order too much food? Yes. Was it all so good? Yes. Do I regret not getting dessert.
Yes.

For Social Security recipients it's quite pricey but has lots of customers and the food is very good. The service is excellent.

My mom and I stopped here this week while passing through town. We had my tiny dogs with us so we couldn't go in. The waitress came out to us to take our order. She was so nice and even came out several times just to give us an update on our order.

We both got the turkey club with coleslaw. Everything was great.

Bathroom was clean. You don't see that much.

I recommend you stop by if you're passing through.

Great old fashioned country diner! We love coming here for breakfast. Sometimes, we make up reasons to drive to Hartford so that we can eat here. Cannot say enough about the quality of the breakfast. Service is usually very good or excellent.
