I’ve slowly been working on finding pieces for my small reading room.
A couple months ago I came across Modern Flamingo through their restoration services. Yesterday my husband and I finally stopped by their show room. All I can say is that I couldn’t resist buying a chair that I loved and was just what I was looking for.
My husband also bought a very unique painting. Modern Flamingo has beatiful and very unique items. If you’re looking for beautiful unique furniture that will last forever, I recommend Modern Flamingo. I look forward to buying other items from them.

Unfortunately not a good experience. Bought several pieces and had one delivered and it was non-functional when it arrived. Was told I should not assume it would work, it was the new drivers fault all of this after stating I was only buying because it still functioned. No help was offered or comp. Unfortunately now the finish on the top has failed on the same piece. Other items have been fine.

Great selection of mid century modern furniture, very reasonable pricing for the such high quality original pieces. Mother & daughter team that are not only the nicest people but highly knowledgeable on all things MCM. I have been buying furniture from them for over 6 years now and everything piece purchased is still perfect and a pleasure to live with. They will go above and beyond for their customers and we have even chosen custom pieces like a sofa that we were were able to guide the restoration of and choose our own fabric, end result was fantastic.

Will be buying from for many years to come. One of the best places in San Diego for mid-century furniture!

I have been visiting Brooke’s showroom for about five years now and have come away with chairs, a media stand, rugs, a lamp, and wall art. She has a keen eye for design and finds gorgeous furnishings. Unless you choose one of her designer pieces, you will get beautiful all-wood furniture for well below the cost of factory-made, composite wood furniture from a big box store. Added bonus: she will reupholster with the fabric of your choice. And she is a lovely human.
