Galina made my dream custom dress possible and affordable! I recommend her services, she is very honest about what she can and can’t do. Custom dresses do take a while so order your dress months in advance to your wedding.

Beware! This woman ruined my brand new $1,000 dress. It was my worst nightmare and I regret ever taking my dress to her. When I arrived I noticed her business was extremely disorganized. Instead of judging the quality of her work based on on that, I remembered the 4.8 rating online and chalked the disorganization up to possible brilliance. She pinned up my dress and said I could make an appointment for 2 weeks from that day to pick it up. I made an appointment accordingly. Then, I got a message an hour before I had an appointment to pick it up and she asked 1) if I had a picture of my dress, and 2) what I had asked her to do with it. I think she lost my dress in the disorganization and had no idea what to do with it when she found it. She then asked for more time to finish it. I could not pick it up until the following Saturday, a week later because I live 30 minutes away and had other plans/work. Another week goes by. I get another message from her same day of the appointment- she asked for more time because she was at church and wanted to go to lunch with her friends. I said I could wait a few more hours but needed it that evening. When I arrived later that day, she was not ready and did not answer the door. I had to wait 30 minutes for my dress. When I took the dress home, I noticed snags in the threading that weren't there before, uneven alterations that appeared to be a simply cut with scissors that I could ve done myself (but better), and worst of all, my dress now reeks of food because she had been cooking in the same area she stored my dress. Had I known that were the case, I would have never taken my dress to her. She would not give me a refund and now I have to go pay someone else to save my dress before my wedding. When I told her about the dress smelling like food, she said she was sorry, and that she did not have air conditioning. What? I would never take anything to this woman. She may have been good at one time, but now she is terrible.

Galina is the absolute best. We took our clothing pieces (wedding dress, and suit) to a big department store and the hem was awful but Galina fixed it and at half the price. Thank you Galina!

Very authentic shop. Caring owner. She is just an amazing artist. Custom designs for dresses, suits and even her own store. Reasonably priced and on/time alterations, huge amount of dresses and tuxedos for rent. I was very impressed that one woman can handle all of that. I highly recommend Galina and I recommended her to my friend already who has a wedding soon. I don’t think any other place would care more then her. She trully loves her business.

Amazing dresses, Amazing alterations, Amazing personality of Galina. You can tell she puts her heart and soul into her bridal boutique. Wedding dresses are custom artwork, her walls are painted and designed by her and just an amazing vibe in general. She knows exactly what needs to be done. And she has a tuxedos rental too. I

Galina made a wedding dress for my sister from scratch. We cannot appreciate enough the details of the dress and the attention we have got from every visit. Not a cookie cutter at all! Also we love her boutique! Galina has a phenomenal skill set from couture embroidery and corset making to textile manipulations and more. She is truly living her passion and has a special approach to every person who enters her magical premises. I am especially thrilled that she is adding a consignment section to her store. I reached out to Galena at Mirabilis Bridal in February to start alterations for my August 2024 wedding. Despite her flat rate, I wanted to confirm costs and alterations required.

During my first consultation on March 22, I discussed the alterations needed and the possibility of creating a second dress from the excess fabric. Galena assured me that the alteration was feasible within her flat rate, including adding a corset, cups, and pockets. However, she failed to add the pockets as promised and insisted on only one bustle button, which seemed inadequate. She also stated that she was able to create a specific second look dress for me with excess fabric for an additional fee.

By late May, I needed my dresses completed before relocating out of state by the end of June. Despite booking appointments as instructed, Galena continued to delay. When I finally received the second dress, it was poorly executed, with uneven hems, visible stitching, and overall shoddy work. Galena refused to make further corrections, citing time constraints and her day off, leaving me in tears.

Upon relocating, I consulted another seamstress who identified several issues: my dress needed significant resizing, and the single bustle button was inadequate, I actually require 9. Fixing these problems cost an additional $450.

In summary, while Galena’s intentions might be good, she overpromises and under delivers, leading to costly and stressful experiences. Her shop’s disorganization and chaotic environment only add to the dissatisfaction.

Brides, proceed with caution and consider other options to ensure your special day is stress-free.

Update after my wedding: the corset that Galena added, because she didn’t want to take in my dress (it needed to be taken in 2” at my waist) broke before the ceremony. I’m so glad I followed my gut and went to another seamstress.
