This has been our go-to place on weekends. Our last trip was disappointing. My wife got a tortilla burger and I got the green chile cheeseburger, both with fries and a fountain drink. Both burgers lacked any type of seasoning. He burgers tasted bland. All it takes is some salt and pepper while it’s being cooked. Adding salt after the fact just doesn’t work. I’m hoping this issue is fixed so we can return.

Stopped in today for lunch and loved every single product on the shelves. Many never seen before products, well stocked and displayed at great prices. I ordered two beef tacos and my buddy ordered a burrito to go. My friends burrito was the bomb but he had to give up half of it to me because when I opened my container I found two yellow corn crunchy Taco shells, empty and 4 solo condiment containers with unseasoned meat, shredded cheese, lettuce and runny thin picante sauce that's it. Very disappointed. They need to change their menu to say "Taco kit" or just stock next to the El Paso Taco kits. My friend who took me there special to show off their food was so upset we turned around and went to complain and received a full refund for my meal and no real apology. Like I said, great store, bomb burrito but steer clear of the tacos. I'd drive out of my way for another half a burrito though so I still give them a solid 4 out of 5.

Stop here quite often, well stocked convenience store with good food and friendly staff. . However , their taco plate has turned into a "Do It Yourself".. .. but it was still good.

The all-in-one stop in Velarde. Convenience store/gas station/grill that offers all the basics.
I opted for the taco 4-pack. The spicy mix is spicy, so if in doubt get the regular ground beef mix. The meat mix might have had other meats. I'd ask to clarify. Also, better to eat 'taco salad' style. The gentleman behind the counter provided friendly service.

Great service, I have been coming here since I was a kid. The food is delicious however the Taco's used to be way better. It seems like they have added double the amount of chili in their tacos. Though delicious, they are to spicy for us, especially for people who are sensitive to spice for medical reasons. If they can lower the amount of spice at least 5% I would give 5 stars.

Stopped in for breakfast burrito and this place never fails! Young man that was cooking accidently put green Chile in my burrito instead of on the side and couldn't thank him more!! It was fantistic as usual!! Kudos to cook! Forgot to mention staff is amazing!😊

Best green chile burrito in New Mexico! We stopped by on the way to the airport and I now have my favorite breakfast stop. My husband had bacon, and green and I had no meat. The burritos are around $8 because they are HUGE, we could barely finish them. The chile was super flavorful and the cheese was hot (which is usually hard to find). Perfect amounts of potato, egg, chile, and cheese.

Mikes Mini Marts Burritos, Tacos with the mix and Taquitos & Breakfast burritos are absolutely delicious!!!
Now they know how to cook and there staff is on top of there game and very clean!!
I'm more than sure other Food items on their menu are yummy too but these are our favorite.
How can you forget the old Tasty Freeze owners and there awesome food.
Not to mention huge portion and Price is👌!
