Catching up on reviews/pics from our Taos, NM trip last month… Mesa’s Edge is a large store on the plaza in Taos, one of the biggest! Jewelry galore, silver, turquoise in all shapes and sizes. Good quality across the board! Recommend you stop by when on the plaza!

Wonderful young lady that helped us gave excellent customer service, gave us space to shop around while still being informative. She was customer oriented, had vast product knowledge, and even shared some childhood memories as a local. She made us feel comfortable when asking to try on the jewelry, and knew each and every stone. The shop offers wide range of gorgeous imported, new, native, and local studio jewelry including a piece by “Cruz” out of Santa Fe I fell in love with. The ring that first caught my eye happened to fit like a glove, a polished moonstone in sterling silver, which I later found out to be the “best recommended stone” in crystal healing for my sun sign. There was no way we were leaving without it. For those who are willing, Mesa’s Edge can provide the perfect atmosphere to enrich themselves in southwestern jewelry, and in such an enchanted region, maybe even have a glass slipper moment.

I bought 2 pieces of jewelry from here and it was the owner who helped me. He was a pleasure to deal with and very open and honest about where all of his stuff came from.

I came to this region for vacation and I was interested in buying locally made jewelry. I looked at some stores in Santa Fe and I almost bought a bracelet from one of them and I’m so glad I didn’t.

I saw a silver bracelet in Mesa’s Edge that I wanted to get for my wife and it was about $100 compared to the $850 price tag on the one in Santa Fe!

A lot of store in Santa Fe and Toas are way overpriced so be careful who you buy from. I almost paid 5 times more for the bracelet I got than I should have.

The owner here informed me that no all places sell genuine stuff made by local native Americans. I would go to this place first if you are looking for jewelry and let them advise you on the value of things.

Beautiful selection of local, native, new, and antique pieces. Quality is top notch and the sales professional was extremely knowledgeable. I found this store to have the best selection in Taos. The prices reflect the quality but are fair when compared to other stores I’ve found in Santa Fe carrying a similar selection. The earring I bought were so lovely and I know will last forever. I look forward to passing them down to my own children one day.

We have been in this store so many times over the past twenty years I think we've earned a plaque on the wall. Their stuff is exquisite and moderately priced compared to Santa Fe and Louise and Alan are the only people we now trust for quality, value, and authenticity for genuinely elegant Indian jewelry. This place might not be the cheapest but you get what you pay for and what you buy here you can trust is real value.

Each time we visit this shop the selection is beautiful and reasonably priced. The people are so helpful and make the time in the store fun. A must go while in Taos!
