Came here for dinner as my husband and I made a stop for our road trip at Yosemite National Park. It’s good to have some Chinese food after days of American food. We ordered the Home Pan Fried Noodles and cashews prawns. Both came very quickly and the portions were very generous. We both liked the cashews prawns, delicious. The noodles were served on a hot plate but only some of the noodles were crunchy. It’s a bit oily but the taste it’s good. Very friendly and attentive staff. Remember to make a reservation as it’s a popular restaurant here especially if you’re of a big group. Recommend.

Delicious food in an eclectic restaurant seemingly set inside an old carousel with a great neon sign. I really enjoyed the Chinese food I had from here! I got a General Tso’s Chicken and the portions were really good, as was the quality.

I was alone and had to sit outside for the first bit, and back in the corner afterwards. People were turned away who didn’t have reservations. My advice is to make a reservation well ahead of time.

We did not expect to have such a nice Asian restaurant in Lone Pine. Food was delicious and service was good. Portions were big with reasonable price. We ordered sesame chicken and special fried noodle. Food tasted like Malaysian/Singapore than mainland China to me but it could be my personal opinion, food was still very nice.

Super busy, hard-working staff. You may have a long wait, but the food is worth it. Best paper wrapped chicken I've ever had. Portions are generous, and flavors are delicious.

We enjoyed our meals here. They arrived quickly and were properly seasoned. They offer an extensive menu for just about any taste. They do have a booming take out business which was obviously quite popular. Due to limited seating, they do recommend reservations. I want to also mention their house special MSG-free soy sauce. They sell it locally and we bought 3 bottles. There is a children's menu offered, too. There is a wide beer selection, as well. There is covered outdoor seating, too. We do recommend this very popular Chinese restaurant!

This is such a cute restaurant with delicious food! I took my family of 10 there, and like several others recommended, we made a reservation since the seating is limited and we were such a large group. They were very busy and clearly a hot spot. Several other reviews complained of the service but my experience was that there were 3 staff, that I could see, and many customers, so any slowness in the service was understood. The staff worked hard to notice when we needed anything, and they were also super responsive and helpful when we asked for refills or extra rice. They were very kind to my children and even provided them with coloring books and crayons. The food was absolutely delicious and, combined with the unique atmosphere, was worth the price!

We love Lone Pine and Margie’s Merry Go Round is such a great spot. The portions are generous, tasty, and have lots of veggies. Love eating here after hiking the sierras or riding at Mammoth. Apart from the food, it’s the place itself, it’s history, the folks who run it, and their resident dog Blue who make it so special. Eat here!

The only Chinese restaurant in town and i guess they can price it high for the area. Each dish is about $23. Either way, i was looking forward to a good meal after my hike. We ordered orange peel chicken and beef with mushroom and Chinese broccoli. Chicken was ok, nothing special. Beef was a bit chewy. We ordered them to go so I’m not sure how the service would be. The space was small. There’s an outdoor seating area. I think i would try another place next time.
