I’m at Mekong plaza, at the dim sum place. It’s great- the quality and ambiance could be plucked out of Monterey park in Los Angeles, complete with retired ladies gossiping in Cantonese at the table next to me “yum cha”ing, a char siu bbq rack takeout line, a handful of boba and shaved ice places, and your neighborhood Asian travel agency. The only difference is that it’s far less crowded and sparkly clean floors here. I ordered just a few staples to test to basics since it’s hard to sample if by oneself at a dim sum restaurant: (1) pay-Dan jook thousand year old egg, (2) har gow (3) siu mai. Very fresh. I’d give it a 4.5/5. Not over steamed, if only just slightly (I’m picky). Good dense portions of chicken/pork and egg pieces in the jook, generous size and ample pork in the siu mai.

The supermarket is great, very expansive. Large fresh seafood and produce section. So many frozen bao choices it’s mind boggling. Has all the sauces and more. Generally many Cantonese, Vietnamese influences. I can’t really recognize other types of Asian so can’t comment beyond that.

I highly recommend coming to visit. Now as I type, people from one table are getting up to make a social call to another table. It’s very much a community atmosphere here. I just heard heavy toi-san accent…it’s like I’m being transported back to my childhood sitting at yum cha with my grandparents

If you are looking for a taste of Vietnam, here it is. Most shops in here have a Vietnamese cultural flavor, and the ones that don't are close neighbors such as Thailand

Lots of neat stores. The restaurants inside and out smelled amazing. Cool place to check out if you're hungry. It's not too big but a good size place to check out stores. Great dessert and beverage stores. Bathrooms are not the cleanest. Parking is tight during the weekends so expect to wait a while for a decent parking spot. Overall, neat place.

Great place to go if you're craving Asian food but don't know what specific cuisine you want. They've got a little bit of everything! Plus the whole place is really clean and well kept.

You could spend hours in here. Huge selection of international foods. The restaurants in the plaza are all so good as are the boba tea shops. They also have a variety of small shops for gifts, skin care, hair cuts, etc. There are fun claw machine games too and a cotton candy maker.

This place has a large Asian market with a fish market and everything you can imagine and then some. It's also lined with restaurants and bakeries and other eateries which are all incredible. The Dim Sum here is incredibly tasty and I can say I definitely ate too much but it was all good. There is so much to do here, you'll have to come back often to try all the different places.

Excellent Asian market with fresh meats, seafood, produce, and a bewildering assortment of products. I spent well over an hour just walking up and down every aisle. At least half of the items I had never seen before. So many different types of items. There's even a place to sit down and eat. The public washrooms are down the hall in the mall.
