Beautiful park! The staff are super friendly. Everything is kept clean and working. They have laundry, small store, bathrooms with pay showers, and a boat ramp. Plus, it's a great deal if you want to catch crab. We stayed in the RV section with full hookups and plenty of room for our 38 ft rig. Our kids stayed in the dry camping area. They had a fire ring and picnic table right on the river. We all had a wonderful time!!

What a wonderful experience! From the time we arrived, we felt welcomed and gained a sense of community as first timers. We camped among all walks of life and had the chance to really soak it in.

The facilities were extremely well maintained! Crabbing was amazing, as were all the activities available. Really enjoyed the staff. Shout out to Randy for making time for our kids and always going above and beyond!

BE AWARE,when booking multiple months, they consider 30 days a month. A neighbor booked 3 months not always here, used when work allowed, his electric was turned off, food spoiled. 90 days, 3 days b4 the end of the 3rd month. The Czarina in the office really needs a refresher course dealing with the public, not a pleasant person. Other than this the maintenance guys were great and friendly, lovely park. We were here 2 months. My res said to leave on the 31st, I said we paid for a month and will leave on the first so she changed it. Really a month is a month, more 31 day months than 30.

The website is slow and full of design glitches that make your booking difficult. The phone number was either turned off or not picked up. The front desk lady behaves as you owned her something. Coins to shower and laundry. No dump station. They asked $5 for filling up a bit of water from a site. The camp host was nice and friendly. Crabbing boat is $120 per trip, the same as the one offered by the marina in town. I will not come back here again for this place.

Nice laid back RV park close to town but right on the bay for great location. Spaces are roomy with easy hookups with some having a little traffic noise. Boats there available for rent with all you need except a license for exceptional crabbing. All in all pretty good place.

We have stayed here for five years, and have reserved for next year. Always a great place to stay. May cost a little more, but it's a great location and the amenities are quite adequate. We always stay for two to three months in the summer.

Strong 4 & 1/2 Stars!
McKinleys RV Park and Marina is our go to park, when coming to Waldport for an annual bike race each May. The park is not too crowded during this time of year. This park does have a few full time RV sites but we did not find that to be an issue. They also offer waterfront tent camping. We’ve always booked a waterfront, back in site for our stays. The view of Alsea Bay is worth it and we can watch the tides go in and out, as well as watching crabbers coming in with their haul. There is a large field on the east side of the property for dry camping and a beach volleyball court, a tetherball and a basketball hoop in the grass area. They offer boat and equipment rentals for crabbing. I love the abundance of water, birds and wildlife in this area.

There is a fabulous little Bakery within walking distance of this park; “Pacific Sourdough,” positively worth visiting.
