I initially heard about McClendon Bridals from The Engaged Wedding Library in Homewood, and I had an incredible experience! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and truly listened to. The experience at McClendon is wonderfully personalized. Appointments are private, allowing for an unhurried and special experience. They took the time to understand my wants and needs and offered a stunning collection of gowns at very reasonable prices.

The owners, Kim and Ginger, were attentive, patient, and genuinely excited to help me find my dress. They offered a fantastic selection of dresses in various styles, and I never felt pressured or rushed in making my decision. When I was debating between two gowns I loved, they provided honest feedback. I found a stunning Justin Alexander gown at their shop and didn't want to take it off! They also supplied a matching veil that completed the look perfectly.

I highly recommend McClendon Bridals to any bride-to-be! They have an amazing selection, a caring mother-daughter duo, and an environment that makes you feel celebrated every step of the way. Thank you McClendon Bridals for helping me find my dream dress!

Attentive staff who want the best possible experience for your bride. No rushing, no trying to push you to make a decision. They want you to be happy! A good selection and they had sample dresses for sale if you wanted a ready to wear. I was extremely pleased. We said yes to the dress for my daughter today and had a wonderful time doing so.

The only critique I have is that the dress I said yes to was also chosen by two other brides from my area, one of which got married at the same venue as me, and I had no idea until I saw pictures two weeks later. I made the assumption that measures were in place so this kind of thing wouldn’t happen, but unfortunately, I assumed wrong. I personally didn’t want to go with a different dress, so I didn’t let it bother me. I just told myself we all have good taste. ☺️ However, this may matter to some brides, so be sure to ask if any other brides from your local area have chosen the same dress. Happy wedding dress hunting! 🤍

I cannot say enough incredible things about McClendon Bridals! They schedule one bride at a time, so you have the entire store to yourself and the undivided attention of Ginger. Ginger was so incredibly knowledgeable and even pulled dresses she thought I might like based on my other likes. There is so much space and everyone felt so comfortable. Their dresses are stunning and very reasonably priced. And as a plus-sized bride, I never felt like I wouldn't fit in something or felt restricted or judged. Truly the best experience I have ever had at a bridal store and cannot recommend it enough!

I cannot even begin to express how special they made me feel. I’m so glad I found this place!! Seriously no complaints. The ladies were there just for me, explained the process of picking, trying on, and retrying on dresses. They helped me through the whole process. They’re not pushy AT ALL, but still make good recommendations for trying on dresses, and they also worked with my budget (which was definitely on the low side) and made sure I stayed within it. The vibe of the place is amazing, like a fairytale. And they have all the accessories available for you to try on with your dress to really get a feel for the special day! They even threw me a little party when I picked out my dress! Also, their payment plan is extremely helpful and not something you’ll find everywhere. You do need to have an appt first, so keep that in mind (you can schedule on their website). They have no problem with you taking pics and videos. I was worried about their selection being too small since it looks small on the outside, but they had plenty of choices in plenty of styles. Even designer stuff for a great price!! Ugh I’m in love with this place, you HAVE GOT to visit!

100/10 experience!!! I can’t talk highly enough about McClendon Bridal, it was truly an amazing experience. The ladies there are truly incredible, Ginger listened to my concerns, needs, and wants for my wedding dress and she has some serious attention to detail. She was able to pull dress based on my likes and dislike to each dress I tried on and I ended up finding my dream wedding dress with their help. I highly recommend McClendons for wedding dress shopping you wont regret it.
