The store is “cute” for its location and being that is Arkansas. It had familiar brand retailers ie Dillards, JcPenney, Zales, Kay’s,
And Victoria Secret to name a few. The only complaint was that some of the stores and food court were not open. For example,
Aeropostale was suppose to be open but it was not, and the food court was dead, only one food retailer was open…

I used to come here so much when I stayed here it’s my favorite mall to come back to due to how many stores there are to choose from if you looking for a good place to get some clothes or shoes I recommend here. But keep in mind it’s not easy on the wallet.

Nice mall with a pretty good selection of stores but like most malls in America, it seems to be dying a slow death. There are the typical department and shopping stores in it along with several restaurants. It's located on a busy street so it can be difficult getting in and out during peak hours. There's plenty of parking but you may have to park a bit away during peak hours as well. Good for now but not sure it will remain that way.

Let's face it, indoor malls are going out of style and it really shows at this place. In the past almost any time I entered this mall there were hundreds of people shopping or hanging out. Even before there was a theater. But now it's like an indoor ghost town. Don't get me wrong, some of the shops are fantastic as far as the quality of the products goes but at "indoor mall prices".

So, this place is great if there's something you really like inside and don't mind paying extra for but otherwise it's just a time/money sink.

I didn't visit the food court but I suspect it is also losing tenants/customers compared to the late 90s and early 2000s.

Still, I give this place 5 stars for being such a great place to spend much of my adolescence.

Welcome to 1988. This mall has for sure seen it's heyday. That heyday was Longggg ago.
Old Mall that's definitely showing signs of age in 2024.

(Mens restroom stall doors won't lock
and they are dirty)

The kiosk in center of the mall are full of cheap jewelry and fake gold.
Or out of date cell phone products also available.

The mall is often very empty including a lack of shoppers and a dwindling down of stores in which to shop.

The food court is now missing many locations
This mall no longer has a Chick-fil-A or an arcade.

The stores here lack shoppers and some seem to even lack employees at many locations. Everyone here seems to be depressed and in drab moods. Not a single smile seen here today on anyone's face.

This would be a good location to be finally be torn down and something far more with the land underneath.

Lack of decent stores eating places and general entertainment.

It really is a wonder this mall still has the lights turned on here. Not sure how that's even possible. I could only assume Dillards is paying the power bill.

I love shopping at McCain Mall. I'm so glad that they have put in the Food Court downstairs, making it where all of the places to eat are all located in one area! Then they put tables in the open area so that when you have several in your group, you can pick from different food vendors and still all eat together.
The only bugaboo in this set up, is that the cleaning of the tables is left to the Mall's janitorial staff service. Their coming through the area to clean the tables is just not nearly enough for me.... or anyone else who doesn't want to have to eat at a dirty table. ?
THEY NEED TO ASSIGN ONE PERSON TO THE JOB OF KEEPING THE TABLES CLEANED!! The 2 janitorial workers who came through on the day that I was there, moved like ice. You could time their movements by a calendar!
But, the biggest news is that SANTA CLAUS IS DOWNSTAIRS AND HE'S READY FOR PHOTOS OF HIM TO BE MADE WITH YOUR KIDDOS!!! ?
The Winter Wonderland where Santa is is set up so lovely with candy canes and trees. Very photogenic!?
P.S: I ate from Chick-fil-A that day!

I bet this place would have been packed 20 years ago. It is set up well, and stores are easy to find. Walking in here brought me back. Will be come again. Malls should make a comeback.

I was impressed by the effort that the mall of my childhood has put into cleaning up. Dillard's is keeping this mall afloat. But there are still some awesome stores worth checking out like Zumies and Journey. Losing Chick-fil-A had to hurt. But the movie theater seems to be doing well.
