This is located in the middle of a pecan field. I had to have assistance getting into the field to the loading dock. They have you get an mt weight before loading you. And then you leave to go get a loaded weight at the truckstop. Then, the guy will give you your paperwork and seal.

I'm sad to say I will not support this local business. The owner was so rude and mean. I went there to sell some pecans from my pecan trees for kids from the school I work at. They were going to the movies which was paid for. But some parents don't have the money for kids to get popcorn and drinks. So I went to sell them there and the owner gave me such a hard time about leaves being in one of the buckets. I offered to take them out while he weighted the others. He said no that what did I think that he was going to give me money for free, he said I'm a business man.I guess he he thought the leaves would put some weight to them. Long story short I left after telling him how rude he was and he just wouldn't quit telling me how he's in it to make money. I wasn't trying to steal from him and I told him what I wanted the money for and again he said he was a business man it didn't have nothing to do with him. So I went to Moreno pecans, the owner and his son
Stayed open for me and took the pecans the way they were even mentioned they were cleaner then most and gave me extra to help out the kids. So that's the local business I will support.

I came in with a small box of unshelled pecans from my home farm in TX. Since my load was very small, and it would have cost more to shell them, Matas gave me a store credit that I used to buy already shelled pecans. Thank you!!!! Very kind
