Went to home goods to buy a few things and happened to stop by Christmas clearance table. States 50% off items, took a few things to check out and manager Pamela states the candle I picked up from table is not a Christmas item, I tried to show her bottom but she refused, extremely rude. It’s so disappointing to see this type of hostility and arrogance when I shop here every week! Here is a picture of the item, I believe if I looked different, it would have been a different case. Racism still is in tow but one day it will die. Mgr Pamela - thanks for your hospitality

Unfair treatment of other customers. Clarifying Ms Wright’s poor treatment. I read her review and the next day I saw the candle in question. I had no issue purchasing the candle for 50% off!! I’ve no idea what the management is up to here ( note I’m a 6ft Caucasian professional)but I will be avoiding store out of principle from now on.

I bought a little handcrafted artifact from home goods yesterday. Brought it back with the receipt to the Winter Garden/Ross stores. A lady by the name of Vanessa waited on me. Even though she had the receipt she said she had to look up the item. She spent time talking to another cashier while I waited. I asked why did she have to look up the item when she had the receipt. Her response was the price was not on it. I have returned things I’ve bought at Home goods without a receipt and because it was bought with my home goods card, it went back to the card. I also bought a large glass vase that could easily break and she had the nerve to ask me if I wanted it wrapped. Mind you it’s GLASS. Vanessa needs more training and a better attitude.

I visited the Winter Garden Village store (Home Goods and Marshalls) where me and my family go often because we live in the area. I had a very sour experience with the manager/coordinator ……. THIS WAS IN JANUARY.

As many people I go to your stores to take advantage of the Christmas sales at this time of the year. I was purchasing a candle that had the sale price of $12 with a red sticker on. When the cashier scanned it, it showed that the price was $30, so I told her she needed to verify the price and she called the manager………, she took the item and came back with it saying that it was $20 (I think) I very respectfully told her that no, the price was $12. She rudely said that the price was the one that she just put in and somebody ripped of the price and put the $12 in there. I was in a harry and didn’t want to argue anymore, but told her I was going to check because there were more of the same items in there with the same price ($12)...I went back and checked that the price was $12 and there many of the same items were with the same price. Now, I’m not trying to start trouble here but I just think this lady should be brought to your attention, she not only didn’t believe me, but she didn’t check the price with the other items or send anybody to check it. I felt super offended by the comment and she made me loose so much time! So please I respectfully ask you to take actions . The cashier and another lady that saw the situation were really helpful. My son had a meeting with friends and he run behind because of her. This is no the way to treat your clients. Specially when most of the business is done by us.

The moral of this story is: “Please neighborhood stores don’t treat your neighbor friends/customers as if they were only going to your store once. They keep your store alive by going there and shopping all the time.”

Terrible lines. Three cashiers on standby while 2 are on registers. Customers are leaving the line due to the waiting time. Really disappointing. As a former employee at tjmaxx, everyone would have their hands on deck and help every customer get in and out to provide satisfaction. Seems like the TJX values aren’t being represented here. Waited 40 minutes to make my purchase. :/

I enjoy all the variety here but the line to check out is always so long. I went there this morning had to just leave my stuff behind and leave because I had to to pick up my son from school and there was no way I’d get through the line in time to go get him. Felt like I wasted my time shopping only to not be able to buy it. There was at least 30 people in line in front of me and I waited 10 minutes and the line hardly moved.
