i found 22 boys just standing there one seemed like he was having a good time because he was just rapping as i drove past. i think his name was mark lee, i can’t remember. i was a little too scared to get gas, so i didn’t. was a very strange experience though.

Handy gas station, expensive but to be expected, I can't imagine how much it costs to truck fuel all the way out here. Reopened, family owned by great people. The new owner has a great mix of antiques and gear you might need for the area.

I only want to say that the "high" Gas price (5,10$/gal now, is because of the extreme low population density so don't blame the few gas stations! This has the best service compared to the other 2 in Markleeville. Alpine county had only 1,175 residents in 2010 Census (0.6 people/km²), this makes gas deliveries very expensive and thats why there is no Diesel.

For being in the middle of nowhere, the gas prices were not as extremely as I might have expected. I can't really speak much to the customer service or other aspects since I stopped at night on the way back from a trip, but I was starting to run low on gas, and this place met my needs.
