Visit for the groovy 1970-80s architecture that is in very good shape (pretty cool!). Skip for the shopping experience—like many malls in the country, it is dying (though there appears to be extensive remodeling that might bring it back to life.

Been going to this mall since what a sears would look like a normal today store and k mart. Now the mall is supposed to look like a modern well built 2 story mall, which is taking a lot of time. Passing by where the sears once were, nature has taken over that inside part. It gives like liminal feelings when entering but most of the stores are now located in the middle of the mall. I hope one day, see the mall complete and filled with people 🙂

That was, like, four years ago💔(They lowkey demolished half the mall instead and killed most of the food court)

Today November 22,2024 around 3 pm my family and I shopped at Q we were ready to checkout we got only 4 items and I noticed our person who was our cashier was taking her time she’s a older lady so I didn’t think much of it I was looking around while she was scanning I know she already scanned 4 items so I looked back at her and she scanned an item again I over think so I just waited for my receipt and sure enough she did scan something twice I went back and the older lady who was our cashier went to the back which was suspicious I told the other ladies that the older lady scanned something twice and the confirmed that she did unfortunately they didn’t wanna give me my money back only store credit which sucks. The older lady who was our cashier didn’t even come out to at least say sorry she stayed in the back. I just want people to be aware of that store because they will not give your money back at all even if it’s not your fault.

As of 11/27/24 there is much to say about calling this place a MALL city has been very lazy when it comes to speeding up or even keeping this place alive. What once was a lively place is now a ghost town and has very little to offer to the city and local shoppers of merced. There is less than a handful of stores here and what once seemed like a hopeful place to have a better and improved mall is starting to look like a run down crack house. Literally one section of the mall is all gutted out and looks like it was burned down on purpose so that we could never shop in Merced again. I really hope this place has better days for the future.

Small mall in Merced, but it's perfect! Has several great stores, arcade, and best of all it's not packed at all; even during the holidays!

Sad to say this is not a mall. I grew up in this city and to return and visit this place vexed my spirit. It's sad to see this city growing further out, but not maintaining the things they had. This place need to be shut down. You can only walk on one side of the place. The other half of the building is shut down. Either remove the name "mall" from the sign or make it into a mall.

They have knock off clothing and want top notch price...if you don't mind wearing knock off brands that's where u can go...Personally myself my pockets hang out like love handles but not wasting my money there!
