It was fun! Once you pay for your wristband, you can come and go all day. If you want to feed the animals, you'll have to purchase the coins from them. The mermaid show is at certain times. FYI, look.on Groupon for deals.

Place has JC penny , Macy’s and other stores. There is also engraving shop and a local artisans wood work shop. Reasonable good food court. Ice cream shop. Some more shops. Kept pretty clean . Surprised that it’s well managed and clean, especially when you compare with o the malls in US, which are pretty dirty and Raggy.

I don’t normally give bad reviews because I always like a business to be able to remedy a problem before anything. However, there is a bigger issue here. We used to go to the Mall of Louisiana quite frequently. Since moving it has been about 5 years since I’ve last been there. The atmosphere is definitely not the same. It seems like the attention to detail they used to have is no longer there. There were several stores closed down, and all of the other amazing shops they used to have moved. I understand the economy plays a huge role in that factor, it was just disappointing.

The issue that I feel is most alarming is what I observed. What was very surprising is that there were clusters of men (10-15 in number)gathered around in various places on the strip outside (not talking to each other—just watching everyone), and I didn’t see a single police officer in sight. It honestly made me feel very uneasy. I’m not saying that they were definitely up to no good, but with the rise in human trafficking….you can never be too observant or careful. The numerous large vans parked in the back of BJ’s restaurant didn’t make me feel any better. This makes me so sad because I’ve always enjoyed going to the Mall of Louisiana. To be honest, after this experience, I have no desire to go back.

I had so much fun visiting this mall. Clean, vibrant and entertaining inside and out with variety of food choices. You can go outside walk, relax, or shop. I recommend checking out Sensational Scents as they have unique perfumes.

A mall is always going to be a mixed bag. There's always going to be high turn over. My last trip was so pleasant. And I think it is because I didn't go in expecting the people working there to kiss my butt. They are human too. I had great conversations. I laughed with employees, helped people find stores that they couldn't locate, and almost got mowed down by a small child in a motorized giant toy car. The culture of a mall is just as much about us as it is the staff and the stores. If you have crummy attitudes, you're gonna get crummy service. If they give you crummy services, you're going to have attitudes. Put out what you want to get back in return. 🧡

It truly is the Mall of Louisiana. It is fully packed with some of everything that you could want. With so many malls closing, you can hardly tell it here. It was clean and well maintained. It is somewhere worth going back to.
