I had a great experience at Macy’s New York! The staff were all incredibly nice and helpful, making the shopping experience enjoyable. I made purchases at the Clinique and Kiehl’s counters, and the service at both was excellent. The associates were knowledgeable and took the time to help me find exactly what I needed. Overall, it was a fantastic visit, and I’ll definitely be back!

Macy's is perhaps the most recognizable department store in New York and one of its icons.
The 9-story giant has a huge amount of products for sale from many brands. Unfortunately, on several occasions I myself found nothing there for myself.
For me, it's more as a tourist attraction than a store where I would shop.
An interesting feature is the wooden escalators, on the upper floors.
Excellent location right next to Times Square and the Empire State Building.

Shop until you drop! Macy's largest store has massive eight floors right in the heart of Manhattan for those of you that love shopping!
Everything from fine jewelry to luxury goods to fashion and home and even kids toys (courtesy of a Toys R Us), they have tons to shop from!
If anything, wear a good pair of shoes and be ready and patient. A lovely one stop shop for most of your needs and love for brands!

Shopping is shopping with Macy’s is iconic Lighting was bright !

The escalators were built between 1920 and 1930 by the Otis Elevator Company, which pioneered the machinery. They’re made of sturdy oak and ash, wood that’s traditionally used in hardwood flooring. The mechanical parts have, for the most part, been updated, and modern safety measures have been put in place.

They might be updated and maintained regularly as per modern standards, but the nearly century-old escalators aren’t going anywhere, despite how much they might creak.

18OCT.2024 Very nice MACY’s Flagship store. So great to be greeted when you enter the store. The main attraction for history buffs is the wooden escalators (upgraded with new parts internal)near the BIG PIANO.

Great luxury items to purchase in the well known MACY’s. Interactive DISNEY picture display. And so many great products to purchase for all types of styles.

This flagship store is 9 stories high and is built to take up a city block. So cool and fabulous to see in person. A wonderful place to visit and shop. Quite a few luxury stores inside here..LONGCHAMP (one of my favs), COACH, Estée Lauder, and more. Stop in an enjoy the experience.

Much too big for me. You can easily spend hours in here, over 9 floors. Probably around three times the size of Selfridges in London. I imagine this would be a shoppers paradise. I did make some purchases but only visited the children and kitchen area and very briefly too. Also good selection of restaurants and cafes to relax in.

Shopping!!!!

I'm so amazed by Macy's. Feels so grand entering into such a posh, well lighted and clean area.

Once you enter, you'll be surrounded by luxury bags and beauty products.

Lots of stuffs are on discount and if you are a member of Macy's, you'll get additional discounts.

It was a quite difficult to locate men's area.

Look at the wooden escalator.. pretty scary yet fun to ride on them.

Anyway, so nice to shop in a cold environment. Wasn't crowded cos the place is just huge and you won't bump into people.
