I work a couple of blocks away and I come here a couple of times a week on my break for food and beverage. The burger is good! My only complaint is I feel a sturdier bun would make it better. With the fresh veggies and sauce all the way, the regular commodity white burger bun just doesn’t hold up. I would pay a bit more for higher quality bread. They give you napkins though, so not a huge deal, but the main reason for withholding one star. The kitchen is open and in view of the register, and is always very clean. Everything I have ordered has been seasoned appropriately and fresh. I enjoy it, and the prices on the prepared food are fair. Sure gas is higher and other items, but it’s in the hospital district so I think that can be expected. The cashiers are to the point and if there’s a line, it stays moving. Are they the friendliest? Probably not, but who really needs that much from an interaction with a gas station attendant. I’ve never witnessed any rudeness or altercations between staff and customers, which is saying a lot for the area. I’ve been here over a hundred times in the past year most likely. Y’all stop by and get a sandwich.

Mac's makes great burgers. The first time I had one I ordered the double bacon cheeseburger burger and it was massively thick. Now I stick with the single bacon cheeseburger with a side of onion rings. They serve the best burgers in the area. They are friendly and always happy to see you. This a to go place although they do have two small tables.

I'm redoing my review. Been there a couple of times since my not so good review and I admit the burger is definitely better than Wayback. They're still pricey but I was bit too harsh on the criticism on how got it in my original review. So to be honest...they have the best burgers at least on the Southside of Bham. Wayback is not that good.

One of the best burgers in bham...with fresh veggies. The tomatoes were huge!! Breakfast is great also, alot of choices for a small kitchen.

Love this place double bacon cheese burgers are my favorite had only one bad experience last time fries and onion ring alittle burnt and tasted like old grease hopefully it won't happen again

Absolute crap. Everything is way overpriced and gas is 30 cents more than surrounding areas. When I asked about high prices, the cashier was quick to respond with a nasty attitude. I agree with the first review...
