Checking in took 40 mins but we had already paid through Expedia. Deposit of $100, surcharge for card payment, neither of which was on their site. Moldy smelling room, no plug for the bath, paper thin walls so noise from room above kept us awake. Coffee machine faulty and coffee spilt all over sink and onto two towels and my husbands $80 dollar shirt. They billed us $100 dollars for two stained towels!! No sugar or cream for coffee that we couldn't drink. Nobody in the office at 7am to complain about coffee machine. Room heater sounded like a train going through the room so had to turn off heat. When we called about charges for towels we had a hostile rude receptionist screaming at us. Please don't stay here.

Worst Experience we ever had in a motel. No plug for the bath, walls paper thin so noise from above prevented our sleeping. Coffee machine malfunctioned and coffee spilt all over sink and two towels. They charged us for coffee stains on towels $100!! I had gone to the office before we left to complain about coffee machine and nobody was in the office at 7.00am and no complimentary coffee. No sugar or creamer in the room also. Problems checking in, even though we already paid through Expedia, then deposit and card surcharge not mentioned before payment. Horrible smell in the room of mold. Extremely rude incompetent receptionist, took her 40 minutes to check us in. Don't stay here!!!

The location was great for the reason why I needed to stay there but sadly, the service was awful. They didn’t refund me my deposit. They stated that I left a towel with makeup on it. Yes, that was my towel. I didn’t use theirs For the purpose of being, I knew if I wiped my makeup off with one of their towels, they would try and keep my money then they stated the room smelled like smoke. I don’t even smoke. Worst experience of my life. They stole money for from me and they lied.

We stayed in a room with three beds last weekend and really enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for what we needed with two large adults and a teenage child. We booked the same room the next weekend and even though we got there before check in technically even began, we were told the room we booked and paid for wasn't available. They wanted us to stay in a room with a full bed and a pullout. I understand that sometimes the room type you booked isn't available, but we were literally there at 2:30 and there were three cars in the entire place. It makes no sense to me how we could be the first people there and yet still not be able to get the room we requested and paid for. We will be in Riverside for the next few weekends, and now and will not book there again. So although we did enjoy the property, their inability to give their guests the right room was very frustrating.

Nice welcome on arrival, polite and efficient employee who remembered we requested extra pillows and the request was fulfilled straight away. It was a welcome bonus being offered complimentary breakfast, unfortunately we had to leave at the crack of dawn so we were unable to take up the offer. Modern, clean and pleasant smelling room with a comfortable mattress and pillows and bedding. The air conditioning was a tiny bit noisy but it didn't keep us awake. We were in room 5 which was tucked in the corner and was nice and quiet. The only issue I had was that there was no hot water in the morning to take a shower, i don't know if this was a one off or because it was 5am or if this is a normal occurrence? Overall an enjoyable stay and would stay again and hope that this time there would be no hot water issues.

Positive: Friendly staff. Quiet location. Decent room. Negative: Need to fumigate rooms. We got bitten by something, but don?t think it was bedbugs. Seems to be in a nice neighborhood, but we were approached by a beggar.

The first room was not cleaned. 2nd room was quiet, BUT I found a few roaches during my stay. Told front desk each day about it. I stayed 4 days, 3 nights, 2nd floor. Convenient location to university and hospital. Parking was easy, I could see my vehicle from my window. Bed fairly comfortable. Had to ask for more towels. Did not get the breakfast. Did not want to eat food where there might be more roaches. Most front desk people were nice. I did unscrew the outside light by door because the dark curtains did not darken the room. Didn't deal with the TV, so can't comment on channels.

Roll with me on this one, seriously: stay here for the oatmeal at breakfast alone! They bring a breakfast tray for each person right to your room every morning instead of doing the wasteful continental situation.
The rooms are clean and more than sufficient, all have the microwave and mini-fridge.
Service is very good (especially breakfast!), and they are right next to all the hospitals.
My mum stayed here while I was in the VA hospital for a week, then I joined for part of my recovery to stay close, they were absolutely wonderful to us!

Correction: it’s actually rice pudding, and it’s phenomenal!
