Livingston Mall - Livingston, New Jersey

The Livingston Mall was a huge disappointment for me and my friend. The parking; beyond empty. The stores; barely hanging on. What was even was worst was the gut wrenching smell, right as we walked near the food court; we were blown with disgust. Furthermore the dust is lethal out here, if you ever wanna cough and feel sick due to the unbearable amount of dust; this is the place.

Ample parking because this mall was EMPTY!! Upon walking in, you're hit with the heat because the AC at the mall is not working.

Food court: The food court on the second floor was sad! There isn't much to choose from, and it appeared as if none of the stores on the 2nd floor were open for business.

1st Floor: The first floor was much cooler because the stores had their own make shift AC's.

*This was my first time visiting here, so I'm not aware if the mall is under renovation. Nothing was mentioned about that when I googled the mall prior to going.

The most depressing, empty, and eerie mall I have been to. For a second I thought I wasn't supposed to be there. This place was literally empty, with a majority of the stores closed down. Almost everything was outdated, like it was straight out of the 90s-2000s. My mom said the place was creeping her out because it was so old-school and vaguely familiar, like one of those liminal spaces. I don't think this place should be open to the public.

Livingston Mall is such a relic and one of the original malls in New Jersey, though most of the stores have closed up and moved on due to an increase in the renting of space. I am positively optimistic about the future of Livingston Mall moving forward in 2025. With stores such as Hidden Treasure and Barnes and Nobles still holding on, hopefully, this encourages other brick and mortars stores to stay put. Hopefully, other stores will come back and fill Livingston Mall once again. The ride out to Livingston Mall is still exciting as it was yesterday what I also like about Livingston Mall it allows the guests to walk with ease instead of the hustle and bustle of American Dream Mall and Jersey Gardens Mall. All in all, we need Livingston Mall to rise and be the escape we all need once in a while

The mall itself is like a dead zone. I went to this one because rt 10 Doc was packed.

Many shops to see
Screaming in the Popeyes and smell of quail rot coming from vent
Lovely macys has large selection of women’s fashion
Telephone wire made from twisted artery I think. Did not appreciate hidden stash of fent in public phone up to my ear and face. Got ill
Food is good staff is helpful
Meat served in food court not disclosed to be animal meat. Flesh of own could be used but not certain. Still taste good.
Fell through floor in bathroom to end up in trash sorting room, called service number for help but no response I am okay but I was scared and felt bad for broken floor and wall as left mess.

Spacious roller skating rink was open skate, priced by the hour. The floors are really smooth and beginner friendly. Staff saw that I was new at skating and showed me how to skate correctly and confidently. They have skates customers can rent, but I brought my own.

I fell right when I was finishing up. But, a staff member was prompt in giving me ice and in making sure that I was all right.

I had fun and I'd like more people to know about this space!
