My 10 year old Phonak hearing aid needed a minor repair. I brought it in and was thrilled when they performed the repair while I waited (maybe total time in the office 15 minutes) and then didn't charge me a dime for a repair that cost me $65 at another business in Las Cruces when the other aid needed an identical repair. 10/10 would recommend!

Actually, I'm not going to assign a STAR value.( I HAD to do 1) I'll just write my experience and let you decide. I had received from Mr. Gurley a pair of hearing aids for my tinnitus on Jan. 2 for a "trial". On January 10, as I was getting ready to go to my orthopedic surgeon appointment, the left unit quit working. I telephoned the phone number on Mr. Gurley's card and was connected to Theresa. I told her my problem and told her I needed to see Mr. Gurley as I had been told, "If there are any problems, call and we'll take care of it." Theresa was consulting a schedule and informed me that there no openings before my own follow-up appointment for 9:00 a.m. on the 17th. I questioned if I could get help sooner and she said that I could drop them off at the Grants office as there should be someone there until 3:00 p.m. As it turned out, my Doctor's appointment required X-rays and I did not get out of there until after 3:00. So, I wait and show up for my 9:00 a.m. appointment on the 17th at 8:58 a.m. The doors are locked, no one there. Other customers arrived and about 5 after, Mr. Gurley and the receptionist arrived and ushered everyone into the waiting room. Sounding like a 'barker' at a burlesque show, with disingenuous positivity to cover up his tardiness, Mr. Gurley shouted, "Is everyone happy this morning?!" in such an intimidating way that one might be scared to say, "no." I said "No." Mr. Gurley asked why and I told him that I did not appreciate being blown off for a week when the hearing aids quit working correctly after only a week into the trial. At this point, Mr. Gurley SHOULD HAVE SAID, "Gee, I'm sorry you feel that way. Let's go into my office. and see if we can clear this up." INSTEAD, he started ranting about "95-year-old ladies from Quemado driving through the snow" and that safety was of primary importance. I tried to point out the irrelevancy of his response as my telephone call had been placed around noon on the tenth when I had been assured someone was there until 3:00. Mr. Gurley then escalated his claims of responsibility for the "95-year-old ladies from Quemado driving through the snow" and I had to understand that their safety was his priority. Now, this situation escalated as my frustration rose respectively with the escalation of Mr. Gurley's voice and claims. I think that he took exception to the term 'blown off', but I couldn't think of a more descriptive term for having to wait a week for help during my 'trial'. But it seemed to hit Mr. Gurley's nerves as he went from 0 to 60 in about 3.5 seconds. And his fixation with "95-year-old ladies from Quemado driving through the snow"? I served 18 years as a Psychiatric Social Worker, and I wonder if He may need help. Not for me to decide.
In answer to Mr. Gurley's fixation, I responded accordingly as I was trying to point out that he was not addressing my situation. Finally, Mr. Gurley erupted and said he only wanted happy people in his office; and in front of everyone in the Waiting Room he announced, "You are a terrible patient!" and "I'm firing you as a patient!" And because he only wants 'happy patients' in his office, he threw me out. He grabbed my hearing aids and brochure and told me, "Get out of my office! Here, I'll hold the door for you." and I was ushered out.
I can honestly say that I was never so humiliated in my life, and in front of a Waiting Room of strangers. I not only find Mr. Gurley's actions totally unprofessional, but pathetic for a 'licensed professional' to be acting that way. I came for help and I received ridicule and attack.
So, if you think you might want to go here for hearing aids, BE WARNED: STAY HAPPY, even if you've got a problem. Otherwise, well it would appear unhappy people are definitely NOT welcome. And I hope you can actually be helped by this establishment. As for me, I shall not be returning as the help I was seeking for my tinnitus is not there. I never even got to talk with him about my hearing aids.

The staff and doctor are friendly and courteous. The doctor talks to my dad so he can hear when his hearing aids are being cleaned. My dad enjoys the conversations and time spent with him. We can walk in and get seen for needed problems. Love that crew in Grants NM
