Do NOT purchase an LG refrigerator! Purchased brand new LG refrigerator with the craft icemaker but defective since delivered. Purchased LG refrigerator Order #200118028250350112 from Lowe's in Bradley Illinois on February 1, 2025, and delivered February 7 2025. Since plugged in, the craft icemaker never worked. Contacted LG support to send notice, and after numerous runarounds, a new craft icemaker delivered over a month later for self repair replacement per LG. The craft icemaker is still not working, and LG contacted once again. Numerous LG tickets open, including the alleged highest escalation of a " Presidential Liaison," and still will not replace the refrigerator. An "LG Tech" is now involved to confirm the defective unit whenever they show up or add replacement parts to a brand new but defective refrigerator. Lowe's contacted and no help at all even though they sell and support this LG product inside their store. This is still an ongoing issue and a waste of $2000 hard earned money. Customers, please read this and hopefully help with your decision for a new fridge, LG President Chang has a false LG statement on their website - we are living proof the statement is false and very disappointed in LG. Do not buy from Lowe's and do not purchase LG.
Update March 21 2025 - the so called Presidential Liaison called and would hang up when we answered for a total of 5 times on March 20 2025. Still ongoing. Lowe's contacted again and allegedly will be escalated. Stand by for my next update. BTW - numerous LG correspondences included in our ongoing LG ticket. I am waiting g to see the generic response about a private message to @LGGSUPPORT even though LG has all if our information. Do NOT Purchase LG products!

I purchased a brand new LG washing machine from Lowe’s and in 2 WEEKS the washer was falling apart, LITERALLY! The rubber gasket around the washer cylinder that ensures the door is tightly sealed began to crumble. When I contacted Lowe’s they informed me they have a 48 hours return policy for large appliances. YES, 48 hours! And after 48 hours I would need to contact the manufacturer and use my manufacturer warranty. And while I think it is beyond crazy Lowe’s does not have a minimum of a 30 day return policy when large appliances are a bulk of their sales, I took their instructions and contacted LG. LG then tells me if I would like a replacement I need to work with Lowe’s because they would handle replacements. I am then transferred back to Lowe’s. Only to be told once again, they cannot help me. I call LG back and they tell me that I have to have the washer repaired. I explained to the gentleman I spoke with I am not comfortable with repairing a washing machine that is just two weeks old. The fact that this washing machine requires repairs leads me to believe there was something wrong with it when it was sold to me and I will continue to have issues with the machine. I also explained I was told washing machines should last 10 to 15 years and this would be my second LG washer within 5 years. And oddly enough, my last washer had the same issue, as well as the replacement gasket I purchased at $200 not including install before they told me I just needed to replace my entire machine a week after the repair and $400 later. I also find it interesting LG 9extended warranty) refused to cover the cost of the repair of my old machine that was not even 5 years old with the EXACT SAME issue AND called it “misuse”. It seems to me the concern is with the inferior materials LG is using to make the gaskets. All in all my husband has spent nearly $5K on washers and repairs in less than 5 years! Against my better judgement and after weeks of research,I purchased another LG because they still remained the best customer reviewed washing machines. Now I am stuck going round and round with Lowe’s and LG. This is not how I should be spending my holiday season!

VERY POOR PRODUCT. We purchased the LG Thin Q refrigerator (just shy of a 4k appliance) within 4 years we had issues with the cooling system. It was are only refrigerator and it took 6 to 8 visits and eight weeks later before they finally replaced the refrigerator. We lost more than 500 dollars of food. They prorated the original cost of the first refrigerator so we purchase a new one. Now 1.5 years later the new refrigerator is having cooling system issues. We are now two weeks without a refrigerator and no one seams to care. All we get are excuse. THIS IS OUR LAST LG PRODUCT. RUN DON’T WALK AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT. CUSTOMERS SERVICE IS ONLY LIP SERVICE. NO BACKING FROM THE MANUFACTURER TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE. I would give them a zero score if there was one to pick from.

I see I am not the only one who LG is giving the run around to for warranty repair. My 4 year old refrigerator has been out for over a month. I paid someone to come out. They have deemed it non-repairable. LG said they needed to send someone out themselves, but they didn't have anyone so someone would call me in 3-5 business days. I never got the call. I called them back multiple times and got the same answers. Finally, one agent said if I sent in the document from the local repair guy, they would refund or replace based on that. Once I sent it in (and got the local guy to come back out and recheck again), they once again said they have to send their own guy out, but they don't have anyone. I have been without a refrigerator for more than a month. I am having to buy a new one because LG refuses to honor its own warranties. They need to issue a refund immediately. However, given the other reviews, it looks like this is their standard operating procedure to try to buy time and not have to actually pay for their bad products.

I purchased a LSXC22396S side by side refrigerator. I have had nothing but issues with the refrigerator. I have a ticket open with lg currently and they scheduled a tech to come out today and the tech did not come. Tech support did not call or notify me they were not coming. LG does not care about there customers at all.

LG support said they can't have any one come out until Monday. So my refrigerator is going to be down for more days. The freezer stops working and the ice in the freezer melts and leaks out on my floor. The leaking water has caused damage to my hard wood floors 3 times. Also the support person they sent to my house last time did not understand English and could not ask questions about the repairs or issue.

I am never going to buy another LG refrigerator in my lifetime and I will tell anyone I can to not buy a LG refrigerator. They are the worst company I have ever seen.

List of issues:
1. LG had to replace the compressor because it was faulty.
2. The door open alarm would not stop beeping. I had to hear the refrigerator beep for over 3 days straight before a tech came out to fix it.
3 The freezer stopped cooling and the ice water leaked and ruined my wood floors. All the food was ruined in my refrigerator. The repair service for this took 3 months. They also no showed on an appointment during this ticket because they ordered the wrong part. No one called me and let me know they were not coming out because they ordered the wrong part.
4. The freezer stopped cooling again. I am having the same issue again that took 3 months to repair. I have a ticket open now. LG will not give me any refund until they look at my fridge.
LG should refund my money for the refrigerator.

This will be the last LG appliance I ever buy. I contacted them about the rusting out rack in my dishwasher and requested they replace the rack. Instead of showing commitment to a quality product, they did nothing. This is clearly a manufacturing defect and should have been addressed without question

Never will I buy an LG again.Customer service is the worst . Nothing but phone call after phone call to have a defective part replaced on a dryer I have yet to be able to use.Going on a month already. President liasion ,Sharonda is of no help either ,does not return calls.The customer service people keep saying that she has responded, we gave 2 #'s for her to call, NOTHING....
Today Sept 5th, still waiting for response from Sharonda President liason for LG to contact me...
I have added photos of how my laundry room looks like for the past month and this is exactly how both service companies,(sent by LG) left the brand new never used dryer .

Not chocked they have a 107 rating... There is one star here because I had no choice. It should be -10.This is the worst electronics company to deal with when a service call has to be scheduled. Maybe you corporate mongers should bring jobs back to America insead of outsourcing them to other countries where English is not spoken or understood. No refirgerator because of a bad Linear Compressor and you can't get anyone here for over a week? But you charge the card for the 458.00 beforehand then send them the wrong service address and cell number and they conveniently cancel the appt.
