Took a tour of Legacy today with Diane. The building was beautiful. The units were very spacious and I really liked how large the closet space was. The amenities were amazing. They had a nice gym with new equipment, rooftop pool with outdoor grills, and a lovely bright and spacious club house. Diane was very informative and detailed in her tour. I definitely would recommend booking a tour with Diane. Overall great experience and definitely considering this place as a home for the future. Shout out to the team at Legacy for being so welcoming and accommodating!

Love their Tuscan inspired exterior design. Modern and neat inside, still giving a cozy homey feel, nicely sized units and beautiful amenities, overall a well located property. Informative and hospitable leasing staff team.

2025 Update:
They have been overcharging us for sewer fees until I fought it. Trash bill has steadily increased from 67 now to 102 and is still set to keep increasing because of fees the apartment tacks on to squeeze out the free first month they offer you. They also give gifts to people getting tours to leave a positive review.

For the love of god, don't live here. I haven't been able to get a good night's rest in weeks. I have a persistent headache and my epilepsy has returned because of this. Read about the neighbor from hell below.

Another update: Finding out more and more that it was such a mistake living here. My trash bill increased from $24 last bill to $40 this bill. This is on top of the mandatory $30 we pay for someone to pick up our trash from the door. I even used less water on this bill but was charged more for it. On the lease it says trash is split evenly between all tenants BUT the landlord can decide to change your contribution. They can also charge you for cleaning the trash chute etc. and you end up with these random charges and utilities bill going up every month for the same usage. Seems like they are trying to recuperate the construction by screwing over their early tenants.

Update: They talked with the upstairs apartment about the noise but the noise still persists. As I write this, they were drilling into the wall at 12 am and having a conversation on their patio at 6 am in the morning, waking me up. It seems like Legacy would rather have more tenants bringing in more money than trying to solve the problem and do something about the problematic tenant. Oh, and they got a barking dog too and the cat is running on its treadmill at 3 am again.

Apartment is modern and clean. There is a good amount of space for storage and the amenities (appliances, mail, gym) are good. My biggest issue is noise. The walls, ceilings, and windows are thin and allow sound to pass through very well. You will hear car/motorcycle engines, train horns, and people talking/walking on the street. It gets worse when it comes to your neighbors. If their windows are open, you will hear their chatter or tv speakers clearly even if your windows aren't open. The quiet hours 10pm-8am are not enforced enough and your neighbors above and next to you will continue to make noise through the night. You will fail to go to sleep early because of this noise that easily bleeds through. You will leave a note on the door of the apartment upstairs because of this indescribable but loud noise you hear above when you are trying to sleep but nothing seems to change. You will talk to them about what you learn is their cat wheel. which they let run on it late into the night. They will agree to do something. They move it to the balcony where you can clearly still hear it because of the paper thin window and the balcony is above the window of your bedroom. Next you will talk to them about it and their habit to do laundry past 10 pm. They will begin getting defensive and annoyed, but they comply. Wait that's not it. You will debate talking to them, at risk of their patience, about their nightly tv watching at high volume with their window open like they want to broadcast to their neighbors. It sounds like the school principal speaking on an intercom. You try to email Legacy and get their help but the apartment upstairs still isn't complying or getting the idea that noise is an issue. They don't understand common courtesy. They don't care that using a power drilling and assembly furniture/constantly dropping stuff in their bedroom (which is above your bedroom) after sundown is inconsiderate to those living near them. You will continue to wake up randomly after midnight to their washing machine/dryer or audible laughing and tv speakers coming out of their open window. They don't understand how to do laundry when the sun is up or how sound travels.

Bottom line: stay away from legacy apartments if you're a light sleeper or need to sleep early/wake up earlier than normal people. You are paying a premium price for an unacceptable living experience.

Beautiful community and amazing location! The gym and pool are amazing! I love that I can walk to everything downtown Livermore. Downtown Livermore is one of the cutest, cleanest and safest downtowns in the Bay Area. I would highly recommend if you’re considering checking it out or looking to lease an apartment. Also, the staff Todd, Diane, Faye and especially Tyler are top notch and will take great care of you!

I just relocated to Livermore and was referred by a colleague that lives in the complex. I was skeptical at first because of the reviews I read about the app that allows you to enter the garage and building being a hassle, but my colleague reassured me that it’s very convenient after getting used to. So convenient that she prefers the app over the key since it’s one less thing she has to carry. The leasing agent showed me how easy the app works and It seems super simple with multiple ways to open. You can even open remotely from your phone if you have guest visiting. I have had bad experiences with the management team in the past and I read nothing but great reviews about the staff…this played a big role in my decision. It’s also the newest and most modern apartment home in Livermore. From all the apartments I’ve toured in the past few weeks, this place has the most closet and storage space that I have seen. the rooftop pool feels like a resort and the fitness center feels like a real gym with updated machines and not just a couple of treadmills. Not to mention the convenience to downtown. I can’t wait to move in!

I moved in on January 8, 2024, and I was warmly welcomed by the most courteous staff: Diane, Faye, Todd and Tyler. The property is gorgeous, and the location is close to everything you could need. I feel very comfortable and safe in my new apartment. Last week I got to meet some of my friendly new neighbors at a paint-night gathering hosted by our wonderful apartment complex, and it was a really fun experience! I'm looking forward to making many new happy memories in my new community at Legacy at Livermore.

After living here for a year, I can honestly say it was the worst apartment I’ve ever lived in. The high rent includes absolutely nothing. There are shared utility fees for the amenities, package storage fees, city trash and sewer not included in the rent, miscellaneous fees, pest fees, and lastly valet trash fee on top of utilities. Trash sits out all day in the hallways, they've locked the door and removed the trash chute signs so you’re forced to use the valet service. The security company was unresponsive multiple times to noise complaints at 4 a.m. Upon move-out, you will receive almost nothing from your deposit. A mandatory $295 cleaning fee will be charged, which was never stated when signing the lease. I’ve never paid more in fees and I’ve lived in high-rises in NYC and Philly. Save your money it’s Livermore.

I've had a fantastic experience living in this apartment complex.
The management team is incredibly helpful and always goes above and beyond to address any issues promptly. The facilities are top-notch and very modern, making for a comfortable living environment. Plus, the location downtown is incredibly convenient. Overall, I highly recommend this place!
