This place was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. I would never have thought that, when walking into a café in the Nøstet area of Bergen (of all places) just to grab a coffee, I would not only be greeted in French, but also served a fantastic breakfast.
The owner, Baptiste, is a former exchange-student to Norway from France, and is someone with obvious entrepreneurial skills.
The locale is lovely, the food tasty (just like maman chérie used to make), and the atmosphere is friendly. Check this place out if you are ever visiting Bergen (or if you live there!).

Not only does this cafe have a great location with good views of the water and mountains in the distance, the apple pastry I had here is truly the best I've had anywhere, and the staff are clearly masters of their craft.

The coffee was also really really good, but the pastry distracted me from the coffee. Perfectly flaky and rich with sweet (but not cloyingly sweet) apple filling to bring it all home.

I normally wait and think about it before posting reviews, but this French patisserie deserved immediate positive attention.

A coffee shop with a french touch, ran by two french men. You can have a the classic hot beverages or taste some French famous pastries like tartes, Flan and Eclair. The cappuccino was great tasting with a delicious thik cream and some quality coffee. I highly recommend.

Good pastries! We had a croissant, a chausson aux pommes, and a pastry with phyllo wrap with leeks and goat cheese filling (forgot how its called).

The coffee drinks are also great. We had cafe viennois (cream, chocolate and coffee was balanced) and a cafe bonbon if you need an enspresso shot and a shot of condensed milk to sweeten it up.

There's lots of space inside and the store has a view of the harbor. You can also borrow some board games if you're passing the time.

We stumbled upon this cafe when we first arrived in Bergen and had one of the best coffees on this trip.
Came back again the next morning and the staff are so lovely and have such good energy. The coffee was amazing once again!!

They saw that we had a dog and made cappucino decoratet with a dog 🥹 Delicious food and great atmosphere🧁😋
