I just went here to get one pound of carnitas and one of pastor. This is what they gave me cold red carnitas and flavorless fried pork. I have been here but they really have been slipping on quality. The person taking the order was rude and offered the green salsa for which I was charged and extra $3. I almost got charged $27 for two pounds of “hot” food that was $11 per pound. I’ll give the mini market my business, but will NEVER buy hot food again.

Small little old school carniceria. We wanted to bbq some carne asada and pollo asada. The meat was great for grilling after creating a marinade based with orange juice and various spices. Nice find near The Range restaurant in Bernalillo!

Really, the one true "comida mexicana" in the Albuquerque area.
This place reminds me of a Mexican grocery store In food and extras.

Really good barbacoa and carnitas. Those are my favorites. Fresh corn tortillas too.

Do you miss the charm of a small Mexican town? Do you want to visit a Mexican deli, corner grocery store, and meat market all in one? Find all the items normally only sold in Mexico and Central America. The food is really tasty and the staff is trained to be helpful. Nice folks and a family business

I’ve went to multiple stores / butchers to look for certain butcher cuts to make beef bone broth & this was the place I finally found it ALL at

As a white passing Latina, people never think I speak Spanish lol so I ordered at the butcher in Spanish & then rang out in English. Everything is translated/ labeled in English & Spanish so if you don’t speak Spanish, don’t be afraid to go in! It’s very friendly
