I'm a Gibson guitar fan living in Japan. I purchased a historic Gibson Harp guitar Style-U from the wonderful store owner Buzz. He was kind, polite and patient with me despite the time difference.I believe this store will provide a great experience and purchasing support for all guitar fans.
There are very few historical (especially pre-war) Gibson instruments in Japan. I would not have been able to achieve my dream without him.
I'm very proud to have been able to purchase a wonderful instrument from such a great shop and owner.

I love this place. Walking in with the smell of wood and books sets the scene for vintage quality guitars and gear. Helpful kind and knowledgeable folk who let you sit and enjoy their items in a completely stress free shop. Prices are marked in this quiet and quaint shop. It brings back the days of Mannys. A true vintage Heaven ✌️

This is a “Dream Fulfillment Center” for guitarists. What a wonderful place. And Buzz is very accommodating and works with you to fulfill your dream purchase. Where else can you sit down and try rare instruments and not have someone hawking over you. Anyone shopping there is a serious musician and respectful of the gems on the wall in this awesome shop. I’ve bought from here , I love coming here.

Purchased a vintage Fender Strat from Lark Street. Although I couldn't come in and buy it in-person the experience was excellent! The owner was very helpful and accommodating, taking the time to answer all my questions. The guitar arrived perfectly packaged and it has exceeded all my expectations! I'll definitely be doing business with them again! Highly recommended!

I brought in two guitars for a pick up swaps—one guitar was worked on by Marshall; and the other one by Tom. Both did excellent work.

I looked inside the control cavities for both guitars and the soldering/wiring were really neat. Marshall zip tied the pickup lead nicely within the cavity. Tom had the more complex wiring, but he did it very proficiently. These guys know their stuff!!

Happy with the services and it was reasonably priced. Buzzy is a really sweet guy to talk to as well. They have a great selection of guitars and it’s like going to a candy shop.

Thank you guys!!

What a gem. The store, Buzzy the owner, the vibe. I travel a lot for work. In a swing through Manhattan, I hoped to pick up a Furch Little Jane travel guitar. But Manhattan has almost emptied of its small, high-quality guitar stores. No one I called had a Little Jane in stock or could get one in time. A Twitter tip put me onto Lark Street Music.

After asking me over the phone if I'm serious about the purchase, Buzzy ordered two(!) Little Janes, one with rosewood back/sides, one with mahogany, both rushed to arrive in time for my visit to the city. So not only would I be able to buy this hard-to-find beauty, I now had two different tonewoods to choose from and no chance of accidentally landing on a dud (Furch don't make duds, but still, options are important when buying a guitar).

And while making my decision at the store, Buzzy took a 1970 (I think) Martin D-35 off the wall for me to strum, because when else are you going to get the chance?

As I said, a gem of a store. I can't wait for my work travels to take me there again.

(The Little Jane is also a marvel, balanced and loud, beautiful tone, a smoother and more responsive playing experience than guitars twice its cost.

I took the rosewood. And yes, it hurt to leave the mahogany behind. The clarity of the rosewood is my sound, but the warmth of the mahogany's tone was half-way to a nylon-string. It was wonderful. But that's a review for some other forum.)
