Super fun indoor visitor center with aquariums and teaching/play areas! It was nice and cool on a hot day. The lake scenery can be seen through some huge windows in the AC with comfortable chairs or out on the deck. We didn't see what was offered in the theater since we didn't have time to stay. It's definitely worth going back to visit and spend more time learning about the area and lake.

A gorgeous park on the lake. We went for fishing and it was beautiful and very peaceful. The area is clean and easy to access. The visitors center has a very cool aquarium inside as well as a small assortment of snacks.

What a great park/lake. Just stunning views all around you. Staff are tops and very friendly and personable. Will be going on a boat tour on Saturday. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate. There's one odd thing about this park, and this is my opinion, and the personnel unsettling thing is there's the nuclear one power close by. And it's kinda cool that it is there. Make for great pictures.

This is a beautiful, well-maintained park. Very relaxing. Many people go there to walk. There is a playground for young children, a hiking trail and a swimming area. Always beautiful views. There is also a marina and two boat launch areas. The ark is going to put in a new fishing pier very soon.

Lake Dardanelle State Park is only a short, unstressful drive from Mount Nebo State Park and is totally worth the effort. The visitors center is situated along the lake and offers a truly unique and wonderful interactive experience great for those both young and old. There are a number of aquariums that beautifully represent the lake's inhabitants, as well as an active bee hive, a turtle pond, frogs and lizards. To give you an idea of just how vast they are, they hold 8000 pounds of water as well as one twenty-one year old catfish known as the grandfather. The gift shop is better than most with tees, local crafts, jewelry and knives among other things. There's great vistas, picnic areas and an extensive boardwalk to experience the lake's natural beauty. Finally, there is also a fishing pier for those so inclined.
