So i went in there for my training and it was nice. The women who trained me was very kind and sweet. But the thing was the manager never called me back. I called emy or Amy to let her know that the manager hasn't called me back. I i worked from 7:05am to 11:35 am so 4 hours. It's been a few days and no call? I even called to let them know that they didn't call me.. the manager currently working there isn't professional enough to call back someone. So unprofessional. No hate to the building at all, great food, prices and everything but just not a good manager

Why did I not know this store / market was here!! Omg the entire staff was extremely helpful, and the lady behind the food counter was such a sweetheart!! I'm definitely going to go back the chile rellenos burritos we're so good My husband got a red chile burritos with rice and beans, and he was also amazed by not only the size of the burritos but also the flavor of the entire burrito. Thank you, La Vakita Carniceria staff, for such a pleasant experience!!

Friendly staff. Very nice selection of popular Latino proteins. Amazing assortment of tortillas. Got out of there $42 later ....burrito, chips, drink lunch for 2.

If you love tamales you’ll love this place. We took home the chili-cheese and the pork varieties. The pork has a solid center of excellently seasoned pork surrounded by a thin layer of masa. The chili-cheese filling indistinguishable from the masa and it may be the masa is just enhanced with the flavor and molded into the corn husk. They also have beef but alas they were sold out when we stopped in. Didn’t sample any of the meat available in the cold case.

I love this place. Not far from the house. Good meat, Better veggies than safeway, I can stock up on my Mexican ingedients get some steaks for the weekend.

I was actually next door, but my brother purchased some seasoned steak (marinaded) for fajitas last week and it was fantastic. Basically it's an upscale butcher shop serving high quality fresh meat as opposed to chain stores.

We have been fans of this little market place for over a year. We have bought ground beef lean, carne molida several times and amazed at amount of grease left in pan after cooking it down. Yes it’s a very small amount of grease and the flavor is worth the stop. We love the different salsas, all fresh, healthy and yummy! Some like it hot and then the mild is good too.
We always get the ground beef when we have out of town guests and they want us to make street tacos. Love this place and the people who work there. Always pleasant and nice. It’s a small market and it is easy to get in and out with out buying extra stuff!!
