I'm don't eat here much, but my family does, and they like the food. I occasionally drop by and pick up a couple of Catfish dinners for them, and I have to say it is a little too expensive for a little dairy bar style restaurant in Des Arc.

A hole in the wall small town place. What more needs to be said?

Has been a family business for years. They catch fish from the White River. You can buy the fish already cleaned and ready to cook at home. Or have them fry it up for it there.

First time stopping in for two, to-go medium fillet plates last evening. Very impressed! Loved it! Fish was perfect, slaw was delicious, and those hush puppies! Sooo good! Just wish I'd went ahead with the seasoned fries since everything else was great.

We'll definitely be back!

While the fish were a decent size, the crust had a taste of burnt or old cooking oil.The slaw was different, the fries were good.
