The place looks like a biker bar from outside, but inside it is a wonderful liquor store with a wide variety of spirits and wines. It serves several towns in the area, including Los Alamos, Santa Fe, Taos, and others. The wine expert is terrific and will offer all kinds of great advice. They also have tastings on Saturday afternoons. I love going in and looking around. The prices are good also. I always find something special there

If you love, like or want to learn more about WINE this is the absolute best wine shop in the state of New Mexico. Even though it looks like a dump. The wines are very well taken care of. Don’t let the looks scare you away. If you can’t find a Wine to enjoy amongst the almost 5000 bottles to choose from wine is not your beverage!!!

I don't live in NM but always make it a point to stop at this unassuming store when I'm coming through town. As a veteran wine industry person, I can tell you they have some amazing wines that are difficult to find elsewhere. I always buy more than I intend and have gotten great recommendations from the very knowledgeable staff.

Though this place looks like a dive from the outside, they have an amazing number of wines and knowledgable staff to guide you. They have some of the best wine tastings in Santa Fe on most Saturdays - for free! I suggest getting a bite to eat at El Parasol next door (the beest chicken tacos!) and then enjoying the 3:30pm - 6pm wine tasting. There is a full liquor store with a great selection - I found a special tequila that I had been looking for (Sangre de Vida). Also, the cheapest gas in Santa Fe is just around the corner.

15 minutes north of downtown Santa Fe, Kokoman has a remarkable selection of wine and spirits. We found some new French and Italian whites that are now favorites thanks to the help of their friendly staff.

This place was well stocked, but not well maintained. The aisles were packed and everything was dirty and dusty. I purchased a bottle of Bailey's only to get home and realize that it had expired almost two years ago! I called the store just a few minutes after I had left and they said they would be willing to give a refund, but after driving all the way back to the store, they refused. Terrible customer service. Very few alcohols even expire. It's not that difficult for the store to check their products.
