I’ve been a customer of Kiwi Docks for several years. Their service is excellent. I can count on them to do a complete inspection of my dock, provide recommendations for repairs and maintenance, and complete the repairs and maintenance (if I choose) at a reasonable price.
I, also, am grateful for their winter service of maintaining my dock during the winter snow season and moving my dock in and out to accommodate lake level.

Kiwi Docks have taken care of our dock ever since they built it in 2011. Their dock watch service has saved us serious money by identifying issues on our pier and arranging repairs in a timely manner. Just knowing that they are there to help identify repairs needed and move the dock when necessary give us peace of mind.

Fraudulent billing. Confirmed verbally and in writing a balance due of $1400. I gave my credit card number by phone and Kiwi charged $1400 and then a second charge of $1000. I haven't had a boat in Arrowhead since 1989. Kiwi billed us multiple times each year for various reasons. Odd, during the time when the lake level was supposedly low, they claimed to have moved my dock to a different location on the lake. No other docks required moving. I am 71 years old, live alone, and have no choice but to accept the financial abuse of disreputable businesses. Unfortunately, Kiwi, ALA, and the Marina are joined in their effort to bill the homeowners who have no recourse. The escalating fees are a reason i would caution anyone purchasing a residence there. Everything important happens in their closed meetings when they increase fees to the residents so they can have extended benefits while the general citizens are struggling financially. Don't bother asking for before and after photos of work by Kiwi as yhey do not have any.

Very Poor and Unprofessional business..

I contacted Kiwi Docks before Memorial Day to have a kayak stand installed and some dock repairs done. They got back to me with a quote and the price was reasonable, so I signed the contract and gave them a 50% deposit as they needed to procure materials. I was told the they would pull permits with ALA and fabricate the kayak stand and order materials for the repairs and it should take 2 to 3 weeks depending on weather.

After several weeks I ad to call them several times for an update as they did not try to communicate with me, It seems they submitted the wrong permit application but this should be cleared up in a few days.. I finally got notification from ALA that the new permit had been submitted and approved in late June.

I got an invoice recently for the work with a note "final payment is due within 30 days or here would be penalties and fines", I went up on the July 4th weekend and looked at the work. The kayak stand looks good but they did not finish the dock repairs. I have now had to contact them again as they do not try to contact the customers or keep them updated and informed them the work was incomplete and I was not paying the full amount they said was due. I am expecting a call back to discuss, we will see if they call me back or if I have to call them again to get this straightened out..

I have to say they seemed professional when this started but I would never do business with them again. Very POOR and non professional business. Do not give them more than 10% down if doing business with them.
