To begin with, if Code enforcement went through they would be shut down. The entry of the door was blocked by donations. I had to keep moving my basket so people could get through. I am sure that handicap ♿️ people can't shop there, no room to get through, and the gravel wouldn't allow a person in a wheelchair to shop there. The isles were too narrow to get through.

For all items being donated, prices are a little high. Now, if they were washed and steamed, I'd gladly pay more because the extra effort is being put into the care.
It wasn't too hot of a day, so it was OK to shop. I just had to be careful that the other customers didn't run me over with their carts, as I am semi-disabled.
As I was checking out, I was trying to help the cashier by taking off the hangers from my items, placing them on the tiny counter, she took the lady behind me first. I had no problem with it, but she didn't ask.
When I was ready to pay, she asked me what I did with the hangers, she clearly saw me put them in the basket.
I doubt if we will be back.
As a Christian woman myself, I do all I can to support these charities but this one needs to be refreshed and a stock room instead of the front door or under the racks. This is unsafe for everyone.

Lately, I started visiting this store and noticed the lady that works there that speaks Spanish has been very loud and rude to other staff and costumers in front of everyone. She must be new because all other staff have worked there for years and always friendly and welcoming. It’s been very unpleasant to see how she treats others. Mrs Perez was not present but this last visit made me feel so upset that I wish she saw.

Expensive for a thrift store. I don’t know if they think they’re an antique shop or what, but some of the prices on their items are seriously crazy. $24.95 for small metal flowers for the wall. A lantern from Hobby Lobby priced at $40 when hobby lobby is selling it brand new for $30. A straw made decorative turtle the size of a football for $24 and the list goes on. I do find some cool things in there but someone needs to go over prices again, all those items are still there after weeks on display.

Usually super messy and dirty but good deals are to be found. If you're fine with the dirty atmosphere that is. I still go and enjoy the deals.

Who is pricing their items? I don’t know who would be willing to pay 8$ for a used underwear set just because it’s pretty and has pearls. 20$ american eagle jeans, 30$ jackets (not name brand) just because they’re heavyweight and better quality. It really shouldn’t be called a thrift store when everything’s full price.

Just want to review and the only way was to give 1 star... . When I got home with the items I had "purchased" they were not in the bag. I called and told them and she said nothing was left behind. I know I had them because I was excited. She then said she would need a receipt after I mentioned that we were not given a receipt, she said I'm sorry there's nothing I can do for you. Well, you could find my items that I purchased or be fair and reimburse or even trade... It's not my fault that your worker can't pass a receipt or complete an order. That's not very Christian of a Kings Christian Thrift to pretty much keep my money for product not received.. I won't be back. Workers were semi rude anyhow.. Guess they haven't prayed today.

We’ve been coming here for a couple years now, and the clothing prices keep rising on extremely pilled/worn clothing items. Some of the pants are priced at retail or above retail, even. Nearly all comparable items are so much cheaper at Ross, so we usually skip the clothing section here nowadays. They do have sale color tags, though, so stick with those if shopping for clothes, they are a great deal at 50% off or .50 items! Overpriced, overworn clothing aside, we can usually find some great household/hard good/book treasures here for a great price!

My biggest gripe is the location...we live in the Central Valley where 9 of the 12 months are HOT! These poor workers here have to work in this sauna of a building for however many hours. The church really should allocate the funds to get them an air conditioning system that goes beyond the wall of kitchen gadgets OR relocate them to a building with one! I was just in there today (thank you for enforcing safety measures and opening up during COVID!) and felt like I was going to pass out in the stagnant heat of the building. These workers deserve an air conditioned workplace, especially with the amount of donations they have piling up to process!

The staff are very friendly and the products are sold at a good price. You can get five shirts here for the price of one shirt at a department store. During the summer it can be a bit humid but that's nothing compared to the savings
