Northport is a little hidden (somewhat) gem next to its bigger sister, Tuscaloosa, and in that hidden gem in the delightful old part of Northport, Kentuck is a real treasure. We spent a delightful hour or so looking at the wonderful craft work and art work the shop offers for sale, and talking to the interesting man staffing the shop on the day we visited.

Stop in when the shop-gallery is open and you won't be disappointed.

This place is awesome!! Several artist from all o er display their merchandise for sell inside. Once a month on Saturday they have a pop up for artist to sell outside in the courtyard. Lots of whimsical items to see!! Come check it out!!

First time at the Center.... A good friend had an opening for her art (paintings, some sculpture) and presented it with her poetry and personal stories in a well-lit room decorated with lots of local artists' work. (Janet's pieces will be on display through January and are for sale)
. I wasn't sure who was staff or guests, but everyone was happy and friendly, so it didn't matter!

First Kentuck Art Festival.amaxing talent both local and national. It was fun. October Fest bratwurst was horrible. But I was hungry and needed to eat.
Poppin Sisters had it going on with there popcorn snacks. I was able to meet Betty Anderson from Wilcox County. She thrives and is a 911 survivor and creates beautiful works of art. I'm so blessed by God to have been at festival and to meet Betty. Thanks for the police and volunteers . It took alot to make this happen . Thank you Kentuck Art

Enjoy all different categories of art displayed along with meeting the artists! Band music on Sat afternoon was wonderful listening. Great choices for meal, snack, drinks.

Love downtown Northport and the Kentuck festival. I g every single year and buy one thing from artist that come from all over the US. Always love to hear their stories. And i always see something I've never seen before.
