As with most any place in New Mexico they did not open at the posted hour. But the great priced breakfast burrito was huge and good … if just a bit dry. Menu sign says that all breakfast burritos come with potatoes and egg … just add whatever we wanted added. I asked for a sausage burrito and the surly mumbling cook said “what else?” This first time customer was treated like crap … I will not be going back.

Breakfast burritos were very good. We customized and waited for freshly cooked burritos.

There were also some labeled premade burritos to choose from.

The customer service was fantastic.

I am glad another review stated it was inside the liquor store or else we would not have know where to go.

Juniors burrito grill has been around for many many years. They always have consistent quality and the salsa you get with your burrito is awesome! There is no inside dining but, the burritos are still tasty! 😋

This place can come across as sketchy. It's located inside of a liquor store after all. That being said, if you want a fantastic burrito, made extraordinarily quick, this is place. This is not a sit down restaurant, there are no chairs, though there is a restroom. The selection is fantastic. Everytime I pass through Raton I make it a point to stop and grab a burrito.
At the time of this writing, a burrito is $5.49 before taxes and is on the larger size for burritos. It's a great deal and surely won't disappoint.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND, EXTREMELY BAD SERVICE!!!
We were driving through looking for one last Mexican burrito shop before heading up north.
ALL signage says they close at 6pm. We got there around 2 pm, on a Friday afternoon, person behind counter , didn't look up, just very rudely said they were done serving food, that their hours had changed. I said ok, then asked if I could use the restroom, as we had been driving for several hours, the person said I could use the bathroom IF I was a paying customer, otherwise we needed to go somewhere else.
So we did, Alfonso's is right around the corner, where we were treated like family, and the food was great
