Clean, isolated camp area with large campsites, potable water and clean restrooms. Lots of rvs, trailers and tent campers. Also pet friendly for leashed friends. Definitely a beautiful place to stay and explore. Check out the amphitheater too! Wander into the woods and enjoy breathing in some fresh nature.

We stayed here for 2 nights in late-May 2024 and used it as a base to visit the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. It was an easy, early morning, 45 mile drive to the North Rim. It is a nice US Forest Service campground. We were happy to have reserved site #45 for our camper-van, as the campground was pretty full. The site’s gravel driveway was flat. The campground is near the highway, but there was not much traffic noise at night. The vault toilet was very clean and well-stocked.

Highly recommended!

Great campground - clean and very well maintained. Nice large spaces. Hosts Sharon and Russ were great - helpful and friendly. Watch for the kaibab squirrels - very beautiful with white tails and dark gray bodies. The 24s

This National Forest is maintained by a contractor and they do a wonderful job of keeping it clean and tidy. The bathrooms were the cleanest I have ever seen and the host provide a jug of hand sanitizer right outside the door. There is absolutely no garbage anywhere in the CG. And all the sites are level. We paid $13 for a night with our access pass.

Small campground with approximately 25 camping spots. We had a pop-up camper and found a pull through spot that made set up easy. Very clean restrooms with flush toilets and shower.

We stayed here between visiting the Grand Canyon and Bryce Canyon. It’s one of the nicer campgrounds I’ve stayed at. The staff were helpful and friendly, and there were several campsites available when we visited in early June. The campsites have a picnic table and a fire pit with a grill. The bathrooms were easily the cleanest I’ve seen at any campsite, and other campers were respectful of the noise & light rules. The camp store and gas station are a minute a way, have any supplies you’d need for a night of camping.

Clearest night skies you will ever see and all the fresh air your lungs can handle. It was quiet and smelled like trees. My kids however did not appreciate the bathrooms at all. The wind back flowing up as they tried to pee was disgusting and we had to hold our toddler due to the very real possibility that she could fall threw the seat. Definitely will be calling to find out about facilities before we attempt camping again. But past the bathroom situation it very nice. Definitely a place for quiet adult camping. No play area for kids, which I think would have been nice. I mean it's way the heck out in the middle of no were and with extremely long car rides to get there it just would have been nice for the kids.

Glad that I found this. Camp managers very helpful and friendly. A little noisy being right next to the highway. And yes! I too would recommend the Jacob Lake Inn next door for a meal. Oh, this park closes for the season tomorrow, 10-15-2024.
